First up... LOTS OF THANKS for making us the FASTEST GROWING TALK SHOW IN AMERICA. In 25 weeks on-air, we have hit 162 stations. Without your interest, loyalty, and word of mouth, it never would have happened. THANK YOU! And this week we welcome American Family Radio Network to the 'XTREME' Radio fun. Tim Wildman, Jim Stanley and the other great folks at AFR have just launched a brand new talk format on many of their stations that is relevant, reliable, and real. This week they seek to offer their Saturday night listeners, particularly the radical peeps, (who are looking to be society-changers) an outlet to solve the moral dilemmas of the day. We are honored to join in this partnership and we look forward to the millions of listeners that AFR reaches each week to joining the cause for XTREME impact via XTREME radio! WE'RE HIRING for 2009: If you live in the specified areas and you're an inventive, creative, sales, marketing, and promotional guru--we want you for our 2009 team for some major market metro areas. VP of Local Markets for NYC, Dallas, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Chicago: Terrific compensation, awesome commission, and the flexibility to work from your favorite place of all--wherever you want. Resume and references e-mail here. Here's just SOME of what we're hitting this Saturday night:
1. Hollywood's HATERS press on: In Hour One... Anne Hathaway, star of the new movie " Bride Wars", and who just picked up a Critics Choice Award for a dreadful film "Rachel Getting Married" is planning on protesting her newly-elected President's Inauguration for his choice of person who will offer the invocation--Rick Warren. Her choices, a) not go to the event, b) stand and turn their back on Warren--while HE PRAYS, and c) wear a ribbon in protest. You'll never guess what she picked. But here's the thing, what is it about what Rick Warren will say, or be, that causes someone who claims to believe in tolerance to be--in a word--rude? Are liberal actresses in Hollywood unable to be tolerant of people who they disagree with? 800.345.9622 your calls welcomed. Resources: The Death and Life of Gabriel Phillips (Stephen's BRAND NEW novel) The Unusual Suspect: My Calling to the new Hardcore Movement of Faith. 2. Deception in Travolta Death?:

In Hour Two... Zenu, Scientology, Christian Science, Buddhism, Christianity, and several other forms of "faith" to some degree or another ask you to "trust" or "believe" when it comes to the issues of health, medicine, and physical welfare. We now KNOW that the early reports from the Travolta death that were passed off as true, were in fact false. Jett Travolta never hit his head. He had a seizure from a medical condition that many doubted and wondered if he should have been receiving treatment for. But its not just relegated to the Scientology weirdos like Cruise and Travolta, there are church going Christians who will tell you that if you're sick, its because you're not trusting God enough. So how do you balance, faith and the practice of medicine? Can you be a person of faith AND a person of science? Agree/Disagree - and if you disagree you get to go to the front of the line... 800.345.9622. Making it all happen...
