Mr. John "I have never done even one hour of Pro-bono work for the poor who can not afford it" Edwards, is all up in arms about what Jesus would think if he visited America today. (Obviously Edwards doesn't buy into the "omni-present" aspect of Jesus...)

Edwards felt like Jesus would be outraged at America's "selfishness". But I defy Senator Empty-Suit to identify one, only one, any one, just one single nation - whose population gives more according to total sums, as well as percent ratios to the poor than America.

The community of faith gave more to Hurricane Katrina relief in volunteer contributions - than monies allocated from local, state, and federal governments - COMBINED.

The same thing happened with Tsunami.

Millions of Americans write checks every single week to thousands of ministries and compassion related relief agencies. But those are mostly consevatives, church going, bible-thumping types.

Of course there is a cross section of Americans who don't care about the poor - at least not enough to give much of their personal income towards it... they're called liberals...

Of which John Edwards is one...

Liberals think paying higher taxes and then endorsing only government efforts to relieve poverty is their idea of extending compassion. (Only after all the government heads have gotten their cut first.)

Check the tax returns - Edwards and his 2004 partner's specifically... What was the precentage of their income that was donated towards poverty relief efforts? (BTW I KNOW the answer to the question - I want YOU to find out for yourself.)

Yep Edwards thinks that Jesus would be ticked about Americans who don't care about the poor. Unfortunately for Edwards he's indicting himself, and his liberal friends in saying so.

Of course Edwards DOESN'T think that Jesus is all that bothered about redefining biblical marriage, chopping up unborn children in food processors - or washing them in acid/saline etc.

Evidently when Jesus said "Let the little children come to me," in Edwards' mind that didn't mean children that humans didn't want...

Liberals and God... what a joke.

It's also one of the primary reasons I wrote MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking. Biblical values MUST be articulated clearly, because when Christians don't we're stuck with Gobblety-gook from the former Senator who lives in his 28,000 square foot mansion.
