Believe it or not I think HUCK had the best night of all the candidates... largely for two reasons. He wasn't really directly attacked all that vociferously - and he used his humor, calm, and yes even biblical knowledge to quiet the antics nearly every time he spoke.

Sure the sexy story is all the attacks back and forth between Rudy and Mitt - but as someone who has not watched these debates all that seriously until now (as have most Americans) Huck came across very very very well!

Rudy had to answer the questions that hurt him.

Mitt had a poor night because of the ganged up attack against him - particularly on immigration and waterboarding.

McCain did not do well enough to gain ground.

Tanc and Dunc added interesting color to the side issues...

Crackpot was his usual self...

But Huck did better than anyone else...and it showed. (And by the way I have not endorsed him nor any other candidate.)

Wary
I think Romney was waiting for the CNN gotcha game to try to get him. He seemed tentative. Nobody watches these acts (well maybe 2-3 million) but Romney made no major gaffs. He just was not smooth on a few answers.

However, he did get the immigration spat that he wanted and the headline that he wanted right out of the gate. It will serve him well vs Rudy. He also helped himself against Huck on immigration.

Romney is the only secure borders guy left who has a chance of stopping the Rudy/Huck ticket. That is until Rudy is through using Huck as a stalking horse and names Rick Perry as VP.

Huck did well in the debate. He usually does. However, the new Politico corruption charges may require Huck to actually help Rudy answer questions instead of just offer to help (Bible).

If corruption becomes the campaign theme for the next 2 weeks that hurts both Rudy and Huck badly.

ROMNEY STUMBLED BADLY-HUCK Wins
Huckabee won Hands down. He is the most articulate, humble, real candidate out of all of them-after all the verbal stumbles of the Bush presidency we have finally discovered someone who can communicate republican principles with wit & wisdom. McCain came out ok. Romney just got a beating..wow..definitely NOT his night. I wonder what Hugh Hewitt and all those who were so ready to give Romney the mantle of conservatism are doing after this one. HUCKABEE is a force to be contended with, and tonight he showed WHY he is on the rise in Iowa. The Underdog is poised to take a bite out of Rudy McRomney on Jan 3rd. The others were all a distant..3rd...Duncan Hunter had some ok stuff and Fred is frankly coming across as kinda like..hey man ..someone please pick me for VP so I can sport my hot wife around DC. And what was with the INQUISTION Style question the crackpot youtuber asked about the Bible(As if he has ever read it)(and all the man on man gay questions...and the rebel flag...weird..there had to be some better questions that those...but wow did the gays in the military question make Romney look like a TOTAL flip flopper...what a bad night for him.

Huckabee won it
Mike Huckabee wonthe debate hands down.
I se no why is leading Mitt Romney in Iowa 28% to 25% according to the latest Rasmussen Poll.
And a ccording to the latest Zogby Poll, he is also beating Hillary Clinton nationally.

The reason I belive is because of his no-nonsense conservatism combined with his Christian faith in God, along with
his pro-family, pro-life commitment to the unborn, and his staunch support of the second amendment, and his unswerving loyalty to our troops in Iraq.

Of course his new position as the frontrunner in Iowa, and clear dominance over Romney and Hillary has sent the Clinton supporters and the Massachusetts liberals into full panic mode.

The liberal pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro big government mandated healthcare flip floppers from NY and Massachusetts are totally flustered and the TH pundits wonder why Bob Novak's lies do not stick to Mike The answer is because “a curse without cause shall not succeed.”
(Proverbs 26:2)

No political consultants with their dirty tricks can stop Mike Huckabee, because “If God is for him who can be against him? (Romans 8:31)

In fact, “no weapon formed against him shall prosper, because his righteousness is of The Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17

Mike Huckabee is on his way to the Whitehouse, and that’s good news for Christians who tired of being taken for granted by so-called conservatives who then flip flop, and betray them. This is great news for Christians everywhere!

God bless America!

Mike Huckabee was the winner
How can a man who dodged questions win the debate? Mike Huckabee took them all. Even though he was the only one questioned on his religious beliefs. He didn't fudge or demur. He took the questions and answered them clearly, confidently, without reservation.

He looked Presidential. Mike Huckabee was the best in the debate. And he is the best candidate.

I could not bear
I could not bear to watch the debate since it was hosted by the Clinton News Network, but I am proud to hear Huckabee won. I think these debates are really helping him. I think he is the most confident-acting and well-spoken candidate.

also
Also, if he does end up becoming our President, I think those white house press briefings will be hilarious with his humor.
