When Sexy isn't cool...
Kim Basinger, the actress who last left her imprint on America by leaking a voice mail from her ex-husband yelling incoherently at his daughter (after she had likely prevented the daughter from being available per court instruction for his phone call), has shared with all of us her newest embarrassment these days.
Her naughty naked past, is catching up with her.
In
an interview with Yahoo News, Basinger 55, tells the world how "mortified" she is to know that her daughter's 13-16 year old male friends have all seen her private parts. She claims to feel "vulnerable" to know they've seen her naked.
Making one incredibly hard to believe claim after another she states that she's never seen the raunchy films she starred in. She claims "mortification" over the idea that these teen boys have seen her films. But with a bit of a wink she adds:
"At my daughter's school these boys are now 13 or 14 years old and they know more about my business than they should.
"Now when I drop her off at school I'm not allowed to get out of the car. But it's funny because these boys will recognise me and wave.
"Sometimes, Ireland will come home and tell me stories I just don't want to hear. Sometimes you do feel vulnerable, especially when you have a movie coming out."
Wait, she's had a movie come out... recently? And by recently I mean - since she was say... 45?
I have to say I don't believe her. I think what she's saying is the sort of thing that she feels she should be expected to say. But are you honestly telling me that she never contemplated when making said raunchy films, some with her husband, some with other men, at the time that she wasn't aware of the lasting impact movies have?
And forget her movies...
If she was "so worried" about 14 year old boys not seeing her ta-tas and hoo-ha would she have been featured three times in Playboy magazine?
And I don't think that the 14 year old boys at her daughter's school are all that obsessed with a 55 year old's setting star power. At least not enough to go around renting all her old films. What she should be most "mortified about" if anything are the 100's of 1000's of pages of her privy bits on the internet that aren't even protected from children who would like to find them.
Of course given the contentious nature of her divorce from Alec Baldwin a few years ago there is a likely a public angle as to why she claims to be blushing at the thought of these hormonal teens obsessing over her form.
Unfortunately the courts don't care one bit if your wife has six different specifically sexual affairs within the final two years of your marriage. In their eyes this doesn't impact their view of whether or not you should have your parenting rights impacted by the choices and decisions you make to pull off such dishonesty.
Count me in the column of "not buying it" when it comes to
Basinger's protests.
It's almost enough to make me want to ask her
the advice she would give these women...
