Are you looking for where you can find Xtreme Radio on a station near you? Check out the "Where to listen" page on our site!
AFFILIATE ALERT: As of this Saturday Night, Xtreme Radio with Baldwin/McCullough goes LIVE in Lansing, Michigan!
Hello 176 WLCM AM 1390 reaches the cities of Grand Rapids, Lansing, Jackson, Livonia, Ann Arbor, Flint, Saginaw, and Mt. Pleasant. Reaching a gross population of 909,608 persons. Thanks to YOU... the word of mouth continues!
Baldwin/McCullough, the fastest growing product in talk radio... PERIOD!
Also tonight we will be coming to you from Lynchberg Virginia, where tomorrow in two of the biggest churches in the area we will be appearing alongside Governor Mike Huckabee.
Sunday morning we will spend the morning with the good folks at Thomas Terrace Baptist Church, and Sunday evening at Thomas Roads Baptist Church. Monday we will enjoy breakfast with about 500 pastors, and then be with the students of Liberty University for the convocation chapel service Monday morning at 10am. If you are anywhere near Lynchberg/Roanoke, please come spend some time with us! We'd be honored!
This week for only the second time in Xtreme Radio history - we asked YOU, and here's what YOU picked for us to discuss on this week's show:
1. HOLDING the Tax-Man hostage: In Hour One... This week Melissa Etheridge promises NOT to pay her taxes until marriage is redefined to include sexual unions beyond the traditionally understood (for 1000's of years) meaning. Many conservatives argue the same thing, for causes they believe in as well. Is it a "constitutional right" to NOT pay one's taxes? Especially by big government supporters who believe the Government should take care of those who do not take care of themselves? 800.345.9622. 2. A Currency for the World: In Hour Two... This week, the discussion of the declining dollar has struck fear not just in the hearts of Americans, but of the rest of the planet who depends upon the stability of the dollar in their ever changing times. Thus the United Nations throws out the idea of a new reserve currency that would be the one standard by which all others would be measured. Which begs the question, "What would be so bad with a single currency used 'round the world?" Of course if you disagree, jump to the front of the line...800.345.9622. Making it all happen...

People should not be put in positions, which injure their "Dignity". How does society lose by granting people their "God" given rights? The Constitution talks about; Life,Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. I did not read any disclaimer, regarding Lesbians. I am not smart enough to make decisions for others,so I probably missed it. But being a Lawyer, makes me, think not! |

"As of this Saturday Night, Xtreme Radio with Baldwin/McCullough goes LIVE in Lansing, Michigan!"
Wow, a new christian station, blanketing the Greater Lansing area with 5,000 watts of AM power (4,500 nighttime). You must be so proud, up there on the station marquee with Focus On The Family.
I hope someone called in to explain what the word "reserve" means in "global reserve currency" and how we've had a single global reserve currency for decades. |

Showing how little you know about the radio biz.
But just keep on because while you are hilariously ignorant - at least you provide some humor for my day.
Thanks for the chuckle...
By the way, I would be proud to have the reach that Focus does someday soon. Millions of lives touched every day.
Yes sir - I would be and am proud to be associated with Dr. Dobson, Focus, and all that they stand for.
Now back to your pervy basement... |

You're being very veiled in what you are implying, but the truth is - no one has told Melissa or any other lesbian that they can not live with another woman, behave in sexual ways with that woman, or anything else...
This post addressed the topic that our listeners said they wanted to talk about tonight.
You really do need to get over the fact that the majority of Americans think differently than you.
We're allowed to, and for the time being still have the freedom of free speech to be so.
Marriage IS a God given right. It is also designed by him as a sexual union of one man and one woman for life.
Other relationships are free to occur. But they are not marriage, because they lack the necessary ingredients.
It's sort of like calling pot roast with potatoes and carrots, "apple pie."
Simply calling it something doesn't make it that. |

"Showing how little you know about the radio biz."
Oh, yeah, you're big. Why, if you go to Talkers Magazine, which bills itself as "the leading trade publication serving the talk media industries in America," one can sense what a huge success you are from their "Talkers 250 for 2009" list of the 250 top talk show hosts in the country.
Strangely, you aren't on the list. Nor on any other list of important or popular talk shows.
So what a huge success you must be. Do you think you'd have anything at all if you weren't buoyed up by the name recognition of S. Baldwin's successful brothers?
I notice you still don't know what a "reserve currency" is. |

GET A LIFE!!! Are you so empty that you spend you time at a blog that you don't agree with? |
|
"Are you so empty that you spend you time at a blog that you don't agree with?"
No, I just enjoy knocking down all the lies and fairy tales that wingnuts tell each other over and over. It's actually for your own good; living in a fetid stew of regurgitated Limbaugh/Rove talking points is very bad for your mental health. |
|
Kevin, I heard you and Stephen say last night on your radio show that Mike Huckabee would be sworn in as President in 2013. I really sit up and listen when you make statements like considering you predicted back in 2006 Obama's win. I have followed your column and blog for several years and read Musclehead Revolution. I really think you have the pulse of America. I would really like to be able to believe that, but this country re-elected Bill Clinton. Why should I think the majority won't reelect NarcObama? I pray you are correct about 2013. |
|
You're no spelling bee champ either, so don't you go there! Remeber "hense" And "brocolli"? There's a Bible verse about correcting others who make the same mistakes you do, isn't there? You know what it is. |
|
Want to call me on leaving the "m" out of "remember"? How about punctuation? I left the ? off of the end of "Remember 'hense'" Are you Mrs. Glenn, my 3rd grade English teacher? She was grouchy, like you. Very irritable. |

Talkers rated shows for their 2009 list that were in effect for the full year of 2008.
Since we launched Xtreme in July of 2008 we were not eligible...
Check it in 2010.
And as of April 1. We will have more affiliates (191) than Mike Gallagher who currently ranks 15th (175).
We are also already on more FM talk outlets than any other talk host in the nation. (And if you read Talkers regularly you know how prized Laura Ingraham counts her 63 "FMS" or Hannity, Bennett, etc., etc.
Nice try though. |

"Talkers rated shows for their 2009 list that were in effect for the full year of 2008. Since we launched Xtreme in July of 2008 we were not eligible."
Quoting from the Talkers Magazine header on their "Talkers 250 for 2009" list of the 250 top talk show hosts in the country:
"There is one concrete qualification for inclusion. Hosts must be working at the time TALKERS magazine goes to print with this issue [March 2009] in order to be considered. They must have a regularly scheduled professional show on the air at a minimum of one terrestrial or satellite radio station or internet domain at press time."
McCullough's little radio show didn't make the list. He's somewhere below -- probably far below -- Car Talk, ChickChat, and a bunch of Air America shows.
Caught lying again, Kevin. |
|
Well, I guess I know this much about the radio biz...
"Which begs the question, "What would be so bad with a single currency used 'round the world?"
It doesn't matter whether what you're broadcasting has any basis in truth or not, it only matters if you can people wound up about . . . something or other.
Nobody but nobody is proposing a single currency 'round the world.
I stand in line at the checkout counter and see a magazine that says "Jen is so over Brad," and next to it a magazine that says, "Jen still loves Brad." You know what? They both sell!
And you know what, Kevin McCullough? People tune in to you! You must be right! |
|
"Talkers rated shows for their 2009 list that were in effect for the full year of 2008."
The more I think about it, the more amazed I am that Kevin could write something like that. It took me maybe four clicks and 20 seconds to find the statement that showed he was lying. Why in the world did he think he could get away with it?
The only possibility I can come up with is that Kevin lies all the time on his radio show, but so few people listen to it that no one ever calls him on his untruths. He's certainly not going to get arguments from his co-host, a guy who probably has trouble following the plot line in a pro-wrestling match. |

Your link to the article about Melissa Etheridge does not work so I'm not sure why she is protesting. I would guess it has to do with some of the monetary benefits married heterosexual couples get that gay couples are denied. When you say "Marriage IS a God given right. It is also designed by him as a sexual union of one man and one woman for life." do you mean getting tax breaks for heterosexual couples that are married is a God give right? |
|
"The more I think about it, the more amazed I am that Kevin could write something like that. It took me maybe four clicks and 20 seconds to find the statement that showed he was lying. Why in the world did he think he could get away with it?"
It amazes me as well and it brings me back to this blog. Either he doesn't understand the concept of fact checking or he is ok with lying much of the time.
I also agree with White Salamander that the writer of a blog should try to remove errors before posting. Proofreading is a simple thing. The writer of a blog should certainly be held to a higher standard than the commentators of said blog, especially when it is published through and represents another entity (Townhall in this case). |
|
..or you're just mistaken AGAIN.
WS:"I'm not writing a blog or having a major radio show...
Actually, I do have my own private blog, but I spell check before posting..."
I've been to your blog, I've read some of it (..you talked about giving up your newspaper subscriptions on one post)and it is RIFE with mis-spellings.
No big deal. A lot of people can't spell very well these days. But see how you're not aware of or admitting a problem. It gets in the way of improvement. |
|
"It amazes me as well and it brings me back to this blog. Either he doesn't understand the concept of fact checking or he is ok with lying much of the time."
Well, as Kevin never tires of explaining to us, we don't know nothing about the radio business. |
|
But there are several thousand shows on "at least one station" or "one web domain".
The REALITY is (and I've attended Talkers for several years) that Michael and company rate shows based on proven performance.
The little tidbit you posted "blah blah blah" is where they can easily point to for those shows who write them, "Hey why isn't my show on there."
Still the amount of people you know in the biz, and the quantity of information you understand about radio fits in the cap of a pen.
Harrison btw... (remember him the publisher of TALKERS) has written to Stephen and I asking for the possibility of getting together for lunch in the city sometime soon.
Hmmm - wonder what THAT could be about?
Hmmm...
Oh yeah tonight we add 18 stations in New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas, and next week a brand new FM talker in Colorado Springs... bringing our total number of affiliates to 195.
That's one behind Bill Bennett - 196 9 ahead of Michael Medved - 186 20 ahead of Mike Gallagher - 175 53 ahead of Hugh Hewitt - 142 62 ahead of Dennis Prager - 133 http://salem.cc/ResourceGuide.pdf

There's a reason KMC calls himself "Musclehead."
'Nuff said. |
