...the other Boleyn girl? With all proceeds going to charity (Oxfam), Scarlett Johansson is putting a price on her company for one evening. That's right guys, for the right price you could accompany Ms. Johansson to the premiere of her next film debut He's Just Not That Into You! Just be careful to understand that she will NOT be that into you. Though one of the guarantees of the night is a personally hand written note which you win the honor of her "handing" to you. Ok I was able to type most of that with a straight face... my my my we do think highly of ourselves don't we Ms. Scarlett?

for a rich guy to take her up on the offer, pay her the money ... then stand her up ... saying "I just wasn't that into her." |

Looking over your blog recently, it's very amusing to me how obvious it is that you read PerezHilton.com, the site best known for showing celebrity crotch shots. A significant amount of your posts reflect what is posted on that site, whether it is the Huck clip from Tyra Banks, The American Idol who looks like Sweeney Todd, and now this item.
So what is it that you like about that site, KMC? Is it all the Britney crotch shots you can see, or are you really visiting to see naked pictures of Danny Bonaduce?
You realize, don't you, KMC, that most Perez readers are college-age women and gay men, right?
Your Web-surfing proclivities are supporting the conclusions I have always drawn about you based on your abnormal fixation on gay sex...
For those who don't know about Perez Hilton, be warned that you probably won't even be able to view KMC's favorite site if you are at work or if you have filtering software on your computer. Most filters block it because the content is so lewd. |

There is no doubt that Perez is one of the most culturally impacting blog, and because of its reach - I do peruse it - as does my bride almost daily.
I also read daily - or several times a week:
Drudge TownHall NewsMax WorldNetDaily Daily Kos Huffington Post PerezHilton TMZ FoxNews CNN ABCNews MichelleMalkin HotAir Politico Time USAToday
And about 50 others...
The point being AnimalGirl that if I am going to confront what the culture is saying - then I have to be able to know WHAT they are saying...
I don't promote all sites that I use for research for the reasons that they would offend the sensibilities of my readers. I'm not promoting the agenda of those sites. But I am gaining the strategies of the culture, the methodologies of those who promoting agendas, and the personalities involved - then responding to them...
So there you have it... my big secret - I pay attention to the cultural indicators and respond from the Biblical World view... you've OUTTED me!
The shock, the horror...

Just so your not overly worried about more surfing proclivities...
The link I found this particular story was located at a site called FARK and NOT Perez. When I posted this story (originally) at 8:25am EST this morning. Perez had not yet covered it.
Just so you know...

That there are plenty of women in the world who are just as attractive physically as Ms. Johanssen but, since they aren't movie stars, they are available for dating anytime. The key is to dress respectably, act decently, have a job, have some interests, etc. and ask them on a date. They might actually say yes and I'm willing to bet they are far more interesting and intelligent. What relatively normal guy wants to date one of these terribly self-indulgent stars anyway?

Johanssen is as left as they come. She is an ardent Obama supporter and plays a prominent role in the Obama campaign's "Yes We Can" music video. (Google it) We can expect to see this video playing continually through the election. |

I just thought it was funny, since Perez IS a bit over the line...TMZ I can understand checking, but they censor out the vajayjays and nip slips and p3nises, and Perez doesn't. So it surprised me. Perez has even run some 'child pornography' (he ran naked pictures of an under-18 Vanessa Hudgens).
I'm not saying you don't have a point; obviously, I read Perez too, or I wouldn't have discerned that you checked it.
But where do we draw the line? Do you surf porn sites so you can know the depths of depravity? At some point, I think the people who are 'monitoring the culture' are in fact enjoying the culture, but trying to tell themselves they are not. Like all the 'reviewers' who go to R-rated movies so they can (for the good of the children, of course) count number of breasts they can see. Sorry, but I think most of them really like seeing those breasts, and are trying to cover it up with this silly self-righteousness.
Checking TMZ is monitoring the culture...Perez? Sorry, Kevin, but I think you're enjoying it. |

Dear Mr. McCullough:
I've never accessed Perez Hilton, but I've come to understand that when you're in the business of watching the culture- and when that culture is one of filth and insanity- some of those sources are going to reflect it! Like yourself, I consider myself a Christian man. I am not, however, one who has led a sheltered life. I understand that perversity exists and that, for the sake of our children if nothing else, that culture must be examined and understood if we are to successfully combat it.
Scarlett Johansson is fairly typical of her breed. She's had her share of scenes of gratuitious sex and violence in any number of R-rated movies. She moves in the right circles, says the politically correct slogans and, no doubt, engages in all the other approved functions of what was commonly known as the "Hollywood Harlot". Arrogance is part of it, too. We see it here.
Now, more than ever, A-list actresses are noted for having the morals of alley cats. At least she's of legal age, though. In today's Hollywood, even puberty is no barrier to infamy; before and behind the camera. That's my major concern as a culture watcher and culture warrior. There's little you can do to turn jaded and pampered actresses from the moral vacuum they dwell in. But you can save the kids, both in and out of Hollywood, from their influence by exposing them and all they stand for. |

Double post. Did it again! |
|
|
For a night with Scarlett Johansson? Imported beer, of course! |
|
|
Look, I love supporting any charitable cause so I'm going to offer one dollar. I hope she gives change! |
|
For very specific reasons.
Similarly, Ms. Johansson's time and company are expensive.
It's called time preference, marginal utility, supply, and demand. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with basic economics, crackpot. I suggest Carl Menger's _Principles of Economics_ and Gene Callahan's _Economics for Real People_. |
