Lesbian blogger SERIOUSLY weighed in yesterday on a recent television show that made her so angry that she felt like doing physical violence to her television set, and had her so thoroughly disjointed that her sex-partner had to come in and "comfort" her on several occasions. Then she levels this accusation against a colleague I work with daily:
Regrettably, the episode also features a defamatory statement by Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council, an anti-gay activist organization, who claims: “Homosexuality is associated with higher rates of sexual promiscuity, sexually transmitted diseases, mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, and child sexual abuse, and those are all reasons for us to be concerned about placing children into that kind of setting.”
The only problem is - it could only be seen as defamatory if none of it was true. But every word of it is. The case studies exist. And since for instance "promiscuity" is all sex outside of legal marriage. Then nearly the entirety of the homosexual community is by definition promiscuous. In terms of STD's 54% of AIDS cases come from 2% of the population that engage in homosexual behavior. Mental illness - check the suicide rates amongst homosexuals vs. any other demographic data you like. And in terms of sexual abuse - when more than 98% of male homosexuals report having had homosexuality "introduced" to them by an "older male" and more than 70% of females report the same... I think it's pretty clear - by percentage of population pedophilia is at a much higher percentage amongst those who practice homosexual behavior than those who don't.
I enjoy reading your stuff Kevin, but I want to challenge you on a couple things here.
Searching a couple places online I could not find any dictionary that defines promiscuity the way as sex outside of legal marriage. You don't win arguments by changing the meanings of words. If promiscuity is defined as "having sexual relations with a number of partners on a casual basis," I would actually be surprised if lesbians are more promiscuous than straight men because of the difference between male and female sexual nature.
But I think the more important point is whether these sorts of statistics within a group ought to be used to discriminate against that group or whether decisions should be made on a case by case basis. For instance I don't think that the higher crime rate among african american males is reason not to allow african american couples to adopt. It is unfair to stereotype in such decisions, because many african american males are not criminals. Analogously, many gay people do not abuse substances and it is unfair to use the fact that many do to treat those that do not differently. I'm not saying that there are not valid arguments against gay adoption, but this argument seems to me not to be a great one.

Marriage has a biological purpose in building a society that the substitutionary sex union of two same gendered people does not produce... children. Thusly our government has recognized the singular uniqueness of the male/female union of fidelity.

Don't, or can't, have children either. Would you deny marriage rights to couples in which one or both partners are sterile?
Also, if gay people have a higher suicide rate (and I'd have to check the studies to see if this is indeed the case), it's likely because they do not feel accepted by their loved ones or society at large. I would think greater social acceptance of gays would produce a drop in suicides.
And lesbians tend to have long-term partnerships and a very low rate of STDs. One could suggest it's healthy for women to avoid men! (My tongue is a bit in my cheek on that one--I do like men.)
But I also know many gay men who are in committed, faithful relationships, and some who are parents--wonderful parents, as a matter of fact. Most of the gay people, men and women alike, of my acquaintance, are every bit as moral--sexually and otherwise--as the average straight person. And some of them are much nicer people! |

He was fired earlier this year and now enjoys an extremely low, very biased audience who lap up his antigay diatribes like sharks eating chum.
The lesbian who became furious simply wasted her energy. Kevin Mccullough has helped to chide gay teens into committing suicide, and for that he will simply have to answer to God.
Other than that, KMC has about as no real influence on the culture.
One thing is clear, though - I would rather a gay couple adopt and raise childrenm then KMC. I imagine he is a horrible father who instills hatred into his unfortunate children. |

And which gay teens have you surveyed on this kal? Is there a special Kevin McCullough list we don't see? And what-parse- about his sharing his views would drive such folks to give up God's great gift? Because this man share's a Biblically-based opinion??
If that's the case-and that is all I have seen him guilty of on this topic-then your case is not really with Mr. McCullough, but with the Maker of the Book. Mr. McCullough is simply a scapegoat you conveniently dump on, because he has used this blog to generously allow you to. But the real reckoning is between God and you.
Because of his beliefs, his faith, he could be used interchangeably with any other Christian, and it is likely you'd say the same thing. But, your real issue isn't with lies you tell about this man at all.
It's with the anger you feel and frustration that is aroused when God's truth for man comes cross with your need to feel good..

As an adopted child, and now as an adoptive father of a Hatian orphan who has significant special needs, I am clearly thankful that your desire about my parenthood never came true.
And as a matter of correction. I wasn't "fired" from WMCA 570, Salem New York. The corporation eliminated all local programming on the New York cluster. My participation here at TownHall is evidence of my continued good standing with Salem Communications, as is my fill in work for Salem hosts across the country in the last few months.
And now it is that same Salem cluster that now serves as the flagship cluster for my Nationally Syndicated broadcast. (My previous show was heard only in the New York Metro area...)
And for what it is worth - my ratings were fine beating one significant talk radio pro every ratings book we went head to head since she returned to the market...

I don't hate same sex folks, have several as friends and family. BUT when a state legislation can be bought off by multi millionaires like TIM GILL to FORCE co-ed bathrooms in all public places (including educational institutions) and then BANS any written, distributed, bound, published,mailed, circulated material that can be even construed or misconstrued as discriminatory, that's OVER THE TOP. Check it out! My daughter (7) is forced by law to have men, boys, teens, allowed into ANY female public restroom.
The bill, SB200, was forced into law, without so much as a vote or thought for the general welfare of residents in Co. Read the bill, SB200.

he did last year-more or less-Townhall/Salem Communications cluster, and related others.
Looks like he is saying that above-I don't know the details.. But, clearly, he is involved w/the same radio station/people. I would presume..

It is so obvious that it is you who is hurt, abandoned, ashamed, and filled with hate.
My son is not a trophy. Well not in the sense that you imply. I am extremely proud of his accomplishments and what has been able to achieve.
As to my being "fired" - would you like to call my program director who was forced to break the news to me in January that the local programming was being taken down? His name is Peter Theile. He can be reached at 201.298.5700. He is in fact still the program director at Salem New York and he and I speak, have coffee, get lunch - weekly! And we do so despite the fact that I am now consulting/advising a national broadcast that emanates from Washington DC - where I must commute regularly to do so.
I also serve as a contributor to that broadcast which is presently heard on roughly 500 stations nationwide. That is in addition to the 21 stations my two-week old syndicated show is on.
And Salem Communications just this week asked me to go on assignment for the Dennis Prager show.
As to your charge over Mass Effect. When I make mistakes - as I clearly did in that column and the response to it, I admit my mistakes, ask forgiveness, and move on.
The truth is Allen - you hate me with a passion. Or so you think. In reality you are at war - not with me. But with God.
I do not doubt for a moment that teenagers who have been molested into homosexual behavior do in fact suffer tremendous emotional damage.

In my writing I also make it very clear that when I am arguing for sound public policy - it is the radical homosexual activists that I am engaging - not the "minding their own business" people who engage in homosexuality - but choose not force it upon others.
Yet God has established what is best, healthiest, and whole. Our lives DO deconstruct when we choose to ignore, flaunt, or go against those ideal norms. But that's not HIS fault. It's ours for pursuing paths that do not work, that are fundamentally opposed to nature and nature's process, and worst of all tear at the fabric of our souls in the midst of it all.
You wanna paint me as someone who thinks I'm perfect and without mistakes? Then you would be painting a lie. The truth is apart from God - I am FULL of sin. Far more so - I am sure - than someone as good as you.
Yet that's the point - we have all sinned, and come up short in trying to live perfectly before God. Thusly He - has made a way for us to know Him even though we are depraved. And simply put - it is to follow His Son Jesus Christ and to work daily at sacrificing our sinful desires to adopt behaviors that comport to Christ's.
None of us is perfect Allen - especially not me. But Christ's redemption for our imperfections can be known by anyone who responds to it's offer of hope.

You will be treated respectfully and given a full chance to make your claims.
All you must allow in return is the opportunity for dialogue to occur once you have spoken your mind.
The FCC will also not allow you to use some seven specific words - but other than that you can pretty much couch it however you feel is justified.

2. What "industry" do you continue to refer to - because you have proven to everyone here that you have no clue about the radio biz...
3. You can not prove one broadcast, one blog, or one column where I berated ANY teenager engaging in homosexual behavior. And you CAN point to MANY columns where I specifically reference the radical homosexual activists that are seeking to redesign, and redefine society...
4. The stats I use are reliable, and respected in academic, scientific, and social science research circles. If you have a problem with them - then you are at odds with those communities as a whole.
5. The clear majority of homosexual males were indoctrinated into homosexual thoughts, desires, and actions by an "older" same sex person. A smaller majority of those occur while technically minors... you do the math. A smaller majority still occur with females - but still a clear majority are induced by an older female.
6. I don't hate people who engage in homosexual behavior, nor do I hate people who engage in adultery, nor do I hate people who engage in the use of pornography... Yet God's standard on all three of these types of behaviors is clear - they run contrary to His ideal. (His best... for us.)
Try not having to change your identity because you have something to hide. You are welcome to comment here as - you have always been.

Your reliable statistics are not respected by any major organization. The Family Research Councel, among many others, is a biased farce whith a very clear, very transparant anti-gay agenda.
True, reputable, scientific organizations such as the APA all rebuke your silly, anti-gay statistics as nothing more then outdated hogwash. You go on and on relentlessly attacking gay people because of AIDS without ever mentioning the dramatic increase of STD's among straight people, particularly women. Your views are always slanted far from the line of reason and cannot be taken seriously.
Your claims that most gay people were introduced to the "lifestyle" by an older gay person is so ludacrous it isn't even worthy of debate.
If we are to follow this illogic, then we are to assume that all sexuality is a choice, and that you could have easily been programmed to fall in love with men and become sexualy attracted to them had a gay person gotten to you early enough. Danny Noriega was poked fun at - NOT BERATED - far different - because he acted like a girl...
He did not "come out" nor announce his orientation on idol, nor do I know if he has or hasn't since then.
And yes it is abnormal for a male to act, behave, or in any other way resemble a female.
But it doesn't berate anyone to point that out. YES I did poke fun at Danny Noriega, who was OVER the top effeminate but as of this day - no one really knows as to whether he is "out" or not...
So you're initial charge of me BERATING (look it up for you obviously don't know the definition) homosexual persons - is totally bogus.

Anyone - that wants to know the reality of the economic conditions at the radio station I previously (for five years) did a daily afternoon talk show on - can call Peter Thiele at 201.298.5700.
He will confirm that my show beat Dr. Laura's national broadcast every ratings book since her return to New York.
We also consistently beat WOR in my timeslot (thus why they had a rotation of shows in those hours over the course of my five years...)
I am still in perfect standing with Salem Communications, TownHall.com, and three weeks ago launched a NATIONALLY syndicated product with Stephen Baldwin - of which I actually OWN as one of the two primary investors in the new BMXRadio LLC of New York.
Our show is distributed by Salem's Satellite operation and will be receiving a 50,000 watt boost along with some other advantages by remaining on the Salem property in New York.
Separate from Salem Communications - I also now oversee the production of radio broadcasts for another organization which is cleared on 497 stations nationwide.
These are the facts. My ratings never beat Rush or Sean, but few shows ever do - and my show on WMCA outlasted dozens of others that came and went over the five year run that we enjoyed...

There are no documented statistics. Kevin is probably referring to some "study" done by the Family Reasearch Councel or one of those idiotic groups that claim to "cure" homosexuality.
He has never once backed up his claims with actual evidence or anything even remotely credible or non-biased.
It's all part of his schtick - and judging by the desperation in his replies to me, he surely doesn't like to be called out on his BS :) |
