In all the headlines that scream out the horrors of online predators - particularly in the MySpace community many would say to just "stay out."

Respectfully we say, "You can't!" Not if you care about your kids. The video above is a radio highlight from my show and it features Jason Illian who wrote the best-selling book MySpace, MyKids.

It is some of the most practical help you can find. Get a copy for yourself. And than come join our MySpace, and Facebook communities - and help keep your family safe!

You owe it to them!

the good, bad, and ugly
My brother and sisters pushed and pushed for me to get a MySpace profile. I finally caved in, and regret it. I still have it because it's a good way to keep in touch with my friends but for the most part the place is full of sinful disturbing people. I'm afraid that younger children or those less in touch with their faith will be easily drawn into places they shouldn't be.

Character Assination!
Your mentioning of the Akon stage incident in your article on Townhall.com as if to brand him a child sexual predator is shameful, and you owe Akon an apology. You need to learn the facts of the actual incident, and then make a public apology. You should also make every attempt to remove Akon's name from the original article, if possible.

My understanding of the incident is that the show in questin was being held at a venue where all audience members were supposed to be checked for ID to insure everyone attending was 18 years old, or older. Akon had every right to assume that the girl he brought up on stage was a legal adult. This incident does not make him a child sexual predator, as your article implies.

See my comment to your article under my ID of "Hypnotist" for my further comments!

Hypnotist...
I know the facts of the story quite well...

I never called Akon a predator, a molester, or any of the other words you used to describe him.

I made reference to an incident in which Akon humped a fourteen year old girl. Which he admitted to. And I asked if other parents wished this to happen. I didn't imply anything other than what I stated.

And yes... I knew the facts in question VERY WELL - and was one of the first to report them.
