I am at present celebrating a spectacular weekend with the newest Officer Candidate Graduate class from the U.S. Navy. "04-07" as they have been referred to for the past 12 weeks are now fully commissioned officers ready to take on their new training, jobs, and posts in the U.S. Navy and provide needed moral and honorable leadership for American naval servicemen/servicewomen in the days, weeks, and years to come.

In Pensacola, Florida my internet access has been spotty. Thus the slowing of my posts yesterday and today. Since my brother-in-law is among those who are celebrating their promotion to rank of officer - I haven't made it a high priority to watch what has been happening.

But in the case of Rick Warren and Barack Obama, the day came and went.

Obama spoke today, and offered up - exactly what I predicted he would as his method of fighting AIDS on the African continent: Condoms and Microbicides. Microbicides are topical agents that are applied to condoms that will hopefully kill viruses and bacteria.

In other words, Barack Obama views the people of the African continent as smart enough to change their behavior so as to apply microbicides and condoms before engaging in otherwise risky intercourse, yet he doesn't believe that the people of the African continent are smart enough to be presented with the fact that it is the risky sexual behavior that is endangering their lives. Nor does he trust them enough to be able to decide for themselves that they would rather LIVE than have sex.

His sold out commitment to the idea - that it is more important to compel people to continually have sex, without stopping, all the time, no matter what - contradicts the ONLY MESSAGE that would infact save lives.

See, here's the problem, condoms break, microbicides have not yet proven effective, and the message that in trusting in either will protect you from the deadliest disease to hit in our lifetimes is wicked.

Ah yes... but here's the bigger problem. Rick Warren knew what Obama's message would be. He knew it - and evidently agrees with it. And it is this faulty reasoning that will sentence the African continent to more years of ruinous destruction, as opposed to a message that truly can educate individuals and help them take responsibility for their own healthy future.

Rick Warren knew it, and Rick Warren blew it...

Virginity
You expect people in Africa to remain VIRGINS.

You might as well advocate that they convert to homosexuality, for all the good that would do.

Remain Alive?
"If you have sex outside of marriage, YOU WILL DIE!"

What about this message is so hard to understand? Yet Obama believes that this message is easier to understand:

"When you have sex, remove this plastic, rubbery thing from the wrapper like so, place carefully then unwrap in the following manner. After doing so apply this topical gel to the outside of the plastic rubbery thing... You really need to because you might die if you don't do it. And oh yes, sometimes these things break - and sorry I guess your just out of luck if that happens..."

Now Let's Bring Some Truth.......
Now let's bring some truth to the discussion. McCullough has largely misled events about Warren and Obama. Admittedly, I'm not sure Rick Warren was 100% genuine on the Syrian issue. As a member of his church, I recieved an email saying he wished he had "been more careful" and "said some things differntly".

As for the issue of having Obama speak at the AIDS conference (NOT church service as McCullough led readers to believe)there were four Republicans who spoke. Attendees to the conference recieved this disclaimer at the front of their syllabus:

"We do not endorse everything every speaker might say. With nearly 60 speakers representing different backgrounds and expertise, you'll undoubtedly hear statements you disagree with. We will too. Each speaker represents himself or herself, not Saddleback Church or the Purpose Driven Network."

I was present for part of the conference today. I did not hear Obama or Sen Brownback but I did hear Franklin Graham, son of Billy. He was emphatic that condoms are NOT the answer. He said the only answer is changing people's hearts.

Lest anyone think that Warren "supports" Obama (as McCullough would have you believe, this was from one of the presentations he gave:

"What will it take to S.T.O.P. the pandemic: S-Save sex for marriage, T-Train men to treat women & children with respect, O-Offer treatment through churches, P-Pledge yourself to one partner for life."

I doubt the above will change anyone who are already predisposed to be critical. At least they will know the truth.

20 condoms wouldn't be safe.
The truth is AIDS is spread not from Vaginal sex. Aids is spread from Anal Sex. There is no safe Anal Sex. Anal Sex is always dangerous to the person being copulated. A person who is copulated Anally has their membranes expanded and torn. Blood will be found in the stool after Anal Sex. This means a Person who gets copulated Anally has their stool in their own blood stream going to every organ in the body including the brain. Hence the term $hithead. Furthermore how healthy could anal sex be? Not very safe at all. This is what should be taught. Anal Sex=Death. It is not a method of birth control which in essence is being promoted from people like Obama
Obama giving a suggestion that Condoms is the way to stop AIDS is formula for more Death Warrants to innocent people of Africa. You might as well call him Obama Bin Ladden.
