I've never asked that question on my show before... but perhaps I should sometime soon.
You can leave your answer to the question in my comments section. And rest assured, I will use it on-air.
Regardless of how the polling turns out on the question though, I think its pretty much reprehensible to see Brit schools take this approach.
I can not be justified, and must not be allowed to happen. It would be the equivalent of American schools ceasing to teach about what happened on this continent over the 400 years that slavery was practiced, out of fear of offending the KKK.
As for slavery..
What man can -truly- change his skin? Or the hearts of others, and judgmental people?
I pray we don't lose sight of Truth anymore..
And remember about real bigotry..
There just are no "ex" Black people..
(Michael Jackson notwithstanding.)
But God, being good, and working All to His good, still produced good out of such evil, and great examples of faith, through it .
Many famous just to Him..
Which is the most important.
God looking at sparrows, and people..
And the ones made in His image, by far, the highest in His estimation.
All the children of God, all colors, are famous to Him. |

I know, because my Husband's Grandfather fled Germany as the insanity there was beginning, as Hitler was rising in rank, in the late 1920's/ early 30's.
My Husband's dear Grandfather had the courage, foresight, and sound-mind to get out of there while he could.
Others, were not quite so fortunate.
I wonder if, these Britons, having chucked a love of God, sense and conscience, have also dumped the idea of good film. The best art is generally made, and fed, by a society which has its mind/conscience on life-giving, edifying things, truth. Today, well, sadly, mostly, no..
Don't they remember the amazing production with one of Europe's own, Marlene Dietrich?
"Judgment at Nuremberg"?
She had such style, her politics, not always so good. But her performance-the film was amazing.. If only folks today would be mindful of God..of Christ..so much more great art..better films..But I digress..
Below is a quote by Spencer Tracy from this film. In it, he is a judge, about to sentence a, basically and otherwise, good man who perpetrated heinous crimes, and was truly honest about seeing his wrong, and admitting this.
The quote was great, and timely today. At its core are some of the answers for why bad things still happen. Why can't art be taught from an ethics perspective? I suppose, that would presume a conscience, hence, a Maker.
Judge Dan Haywood:
"Janning, to be sure, is a tragic figure. We believe he *loathed* the evil he did. But compassion for the present torture of his soul must not beget forgetfulness of the torture and death of millions by the government of which he was a part.
Janning's record and his fate illuminate the most shattering truth that has emerged from this trial.
If he and the other defendants were all depraved perverts - if the leaders of the Third Reich were sadistic monsters and maniacs - these events would have no more moral significance than an earthquake or other natural catastrophes.
But this trial has shown that under the stress of a national crisis, men - even able and extraordinary men - can delude themselves into the commission of crimes and atrocities so vast and heinous as to stagger the imagination.
No one who has sat through this trial can ever forget. The sterilization of men because of their political beliefs... The murder of children...
How *easily* that can happen! There are those in our country today, too, who speak of the "protection" of the country. Of "survival". The answer to that is: *survival as what*? A country isn't a rock. And it isn't an extension of one's self. *It's what it stands for, when standing for something is the most difficult!*
Before the people of the world - let it now be noted in our decision here that this is what *we* stand for: *justice, truth... and the value of a single human being!*"
This was why so many actors went to Hollywood.. This kind of writing..acting..
Ironically..

I can see it is an honest and interesting question.
Unlike the varied answers which a thing like moral relativism would spawn..which aren't ones generally based on Truth, or a perspective with absolutes, this is a different animal-here.
"Schools are dropping the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils"
To me that is outrageous, and insane.
So my question,
Who died and made Muslims "god"?
Not that they are God, but, clearly those in Britain seem bound to please them by throwing themselves at their god of political-correctness, while forfeiting Truth.
This has been happening, over there, for some time now..
Of course, in Canada too..
It's just the fruits of closing eyes, and ears, minds/hearts to God and His will and way.
A mind, and memory, so closed off to these realities can only make history repeat itself, and we know those tragic consequences.
Pity the man/woman from any faith that must advance their own through blindness, ignorance, refusing to see.
Pity, more, the sad, sad soul who aids them..
