Staffers who are not to be trusted...
It's a very small thing,
only one paragraph and in three page story on the timeline of the overall bailout chronology. But to me it speaks volumes.
When you assemble a team. Generally you look for people you trust. Generally you don't employ people who can not be trusted. Generally you refuse to allow someone to continue to work for you if they can not be trusted.
And with all the leaks that have emanated from "unnamed sources" on capitol hill it seems to me important Washington leaders (particularly in leadership positions) would have tighter requirements for who they employ and the degree of trust they put in those people.
But here's the thing...
Liberals never see dishonesty, lying, untruthfulness, disobeying direct orders-rules-laws, even losing the trust of those one works for or vice versa as anything particularly important.
Following the rules of Saul Alinsky of which Barack Obama is a devout disciple, liberals believe that ANY MEANS necessary is just fine when trying to obtain power, keeping power, or enforcing power.
It goes back to my
original contention in the differences between conservatives and liberals:
1. Conservatives believe there is a God. He is outside of them, beyond them, someone they are subject to, someone they live their lives in subjection/submission to.2. Liberals believe they ARE God OR that God is merely a manipulatable plaything. They certainly do not believe that God is authoritative, powerful, or someone they need to live in obedience to.I
wrote extensively about this observable difference between the two groups in my first book. And hear me on this, I'm not being critical in making this observation - just stating it.
Conservatives believe there is a God, Liberals believe they ARE God.That difference will always allow you to cheat, lie, act in untrustworthy ways - even to your imediate superior - even is she's on your team - even if she's speaker of the House.
Which is why Nancy Pelosi
had to become a nanny, and take her staff's Crack-Berries away from them to "prevent leaks" from occurring.
It has nothing to do with partisan affiliation, but it has everything to do with worldview - and the trust or the lack thereof that goes with it.
