Staffers who are not to be trusted...

It's a very small thing, only one paragraph and in three page story on the timeline of the overall bailout chronology. But to me it speaks volumes.

When you assemble a team. Generally you look for people you trust. Generally you don't employ people who can not be trusted. Generally you refuse to allow someone to continue to work for you if they can not be trusted.

And with all the leaks that have emanated from "unnamed sources" on capitol hill it seems to me important Washington leaders (particularly in leadership positions) would have tighter requirements for who they employ and the degree of trust they put in those people.

But here's the thing...

Liberals never see dishonesty, lying, untruthfulness, disobeying direct orders-rules-laws, even losing the trust of those one works for or vice versa as anything particularly important.

Following the rules of Saul Alinsky of which Barack Obama is a devout disciple, liberals believe that ANY MEANS necessary is just fine when trying to obtain power, keeping power, or enforcing power.

It goes back to my original contention in the differences between conservatives and liberals:

1. Conservatives believe there is a God. He is outside of them, beyond them, someone they are subject to, someone they live their lives in subjection/submission to.

2. Liberals believe they ARE God OR that God is merely a manipulatable plaything. They certainly do not believe that God is authoritative, powerful, or someone they need to live in obedience to.

I wrote extensively about this observable difference between the two groups in my first book. And hear me on this, I'm not being critical in making this observation - just stating it. Conservatives believe there is a God, Liberals believe they ARE God.

That difference will always allow you to cheat, lie, act in untrustworthy ways - even to your imediate superior - even is she's on your team - even if she's speaker of the House.

Which is why Nancy Pelosi had to become a nanny, and take her staff's Crack-Berries away from them to "prevent leaks" from occurring.

It has nothing to do with partisan affiliation, but it has everything to do with worldview - and the trust or the lack thereof that goes with it.

Not sure
I'm not too sure what this about, but apparently Congresswomen Pelosi deserves some credit, which I am usually reluctlent to give her. Sometimes politicians do what needs to be done regardless of politics.

Worldview divides libs & conservatives
I'm sure many will argue with your view on this, Kevin. They will talk about how liberals care about the environment, for the poor, for the disadvantaged, etc. But when you look carefully at the left's causes, you will find that it is highly selective - that is, a moral framework that is shaped by convenience (moral outrage is always easy to muster when someone else is guilty), human logic (and if we're honest, we have to admit that we can talk ourselves into rationalizing pretty much anything) and the evolution of mankind via greater enlightenment and knowledge. This is why much of academia is a breeding ground for liberalism. It is a place where we can pontificate ourselves into justifying anything and obscure truths (about right and wrong) that are simple enough for a 5 year old to understand.

Pelosi is the definition of evil
Angel (messenger) of darkness posing as light. Our RHINO friends fall for it everytime. They are more scared of the dark, then the light! This bill will come back to haunt us when the MSM and the Democrats 2 years from now blame CEO salaries on Republicans, and that we were mean spirited and screwed the poor! Just sit back and watch!

Nothing
It says nothing about Liberals or God. It's all partisan politics.

Nice try.

AWWWWW
Pooo baby pubwicans had their feewings hurt by the mean lady, so the rest of the country suffers while the pubwicans go searching for their balls.

I'm so glad John McCain "suspended his campaign" in an effort to make this all work out LOL - nice job, John - nice job indeed.

As with your beloved ognorant tart Sarah Palin, the entire Republican party is going down in FLAMES while Barack Obama stays as cool as a cucumber.

Thank GOD he's going to be our next President.

keep talking, kal
Keep talking, kal. Your condescending, arrogant attitude is on full display, as is Pelosi's, which is why her approval, as well as Democratic congress' is in the toilet.
