I've effected change all my life...
A truly terrific moment for Governor Romney when probed by Chris Wallace. He's worked for effective solutions at every level and every stop he's been to.
|
is that he has changed the definition of marriage in MA, mandated a healthcare system that included abortion, changed his mind about abortion, become a life long hunter having only hunted twice at age 59, seen his parents marching with MLK "figuratively", decided the destruction of embroys for research is a conservative position, put negative ads. misrepresenting McCain's position then blamed his staff for it, blamed contractor for illegals working on his lawn, invested over $20 million in IA and NH for a second place finish. CHANGE IS NOT GOOD IF IT INCLUDES MULTIPLE POSITIONS THAT MAKE HIM UNPREDICTABLE AS PRESIDENT. HE IS UNELECTABLE, 48% of americans polled said they would never under any circumstance vote for him - and I am one of them. |

I will never vote for any politician who thinks he has the right to mandate personal financial decisions for me-like whether or not i need to buy a health insurance policy or not.
Thats MY decision, not yours... MITT!
oh, but filthy rich slick mitt the flip thinks he knows what is best for us poor bumpkins in fly-over country-not. |

How come Sarah and cornpone harry are always the first two commenters on a Romney article? You guys must stay up late every night.
Sarah: 1. Romney did not change the definition of marriage. That was imposed by the courts. Romney encouraged the Legislature to change their constitution to define marriage to be between a man and a woman. The legislature refused to do so. Romney could only enforce laws and propose them, he could not enact them. 2. Romney did not say he only hunted twice. He said he only hunted varmints. Obviously, he's not a big game hunter. So what? 3. His father marching with MLK has been verified. Whether he saw him or not is unimportant. He used the language because he knew that's what his father was doing. No doubt, they discussed it at home. Big deal! 4. It was the destruction of human embryos that changed him from supporting Roe v. Wade to pro-life. 5. His ads depicting McCain's record were "contrasting ads" and not "negative ads." He has honored McCain as an American hero. 6. He did not hire illegals. He hired a company, which then employed illegals, unbeknownst to him. Surely you jest in this -- ah, but you don't. You already know all of this, but you prefer to distort.

cornpone: 1. "personal financial decisions" -- how 'bout taxes. how 'bout mandatory car insurance? He has said you don't need health insurance provided that you can afford to demonstrate that you can pay your medical bills. Do you want the rest of us to pay them for you? Do you want doctors to donate their time to work on you? 2. How does his being rich make him filthy? He has donated to charity more than most people earn in a lifetime. Do you object to people who are successful? Do you classify someone as slimy because they're capable of making great amounts of money, or of turning around the Olympics?
The truth is, both you and Sarah have posted many times before, and stated your real reasons for voting against Mitt. As you have said, you will never vote for a Mormon. That is your right. But, too bad. The country could use his talents. He could reduce the cost of government. He could advance the conservative cause. He could better protect the nation.
The people I know who know him personally say he's a man of integrity, and of great personal ability. |

MSM may be pimping McCain and Huckabee, but Romney is winning delegates.
Here are some things to consider:
* Romney won Wyoming, and came in second in Iowa and New Hampshire. * McCain had an edge in NH, because he left Iowa to go work on NH. However, while McCain only won 7 delegates in NH, because Romney choose to run in Iowa, Romney won 12 delegates in Iowa by taking second place! (NH only has 12 delegate slots, after having been penalized for moving their primary up.) * Romney has more delegates than any other Republican candidate. (See image below.) * In the first three state races, Romney has… - beaten McCain 2 out of 3 times - beaten Huckabee 2 out of 3 times - beaten Rudy 3 out of 3 times - beaten Thompson 3 out of 3 times - beaten Ron Paul and all others 3 out of 3 times. * Romney is the only candidate who has beaten EVERY OTHER candidate AT LEAST TWO out of THREE times. * Romney raised more money than any of the Republican candidates and has the resources to continue fighting.

Mitt Romney was at his presidential best in the debate last night. He had some of the best and most comprehensive answers...even tho we've heard most of it all before, it's great that he's staying on message.
Vote for MITT!!! |
