how do we square that chart..with this:

In the past month, the MSM has been booming the Huckaboom, even though it is already a Huckabust.

Never have so many pundits been so wrong about so much.

"Many pundits?"

"Many?

I'm not supporting any of the candidates publicly... but doesn't it defy credulity to see that every black line on this morning's WaPo chart has peaked, and the red one hasn't?

Does that make me some sort of freak for noticing?

As a matter of transparency and disclosure: I am not endorsing a candidate in the GOP Primary.

Hahaha!!!!
Exactly!!!! Hugh has lost all credibility in my eyes.

Hugh hasn't lost or gained
Have you looked at the latest Rasmussen poll from Iowa? Last week, Huckabee had a 16 point lead. Now that lead is 1. There's an Insider Advantage poll with Romney and Huckabee in a neck-and-neck tie. A CNN poll has Mike 8 points ahead. I remember seeing a 22-point lead in a Newsweek poll a few weeks ago for Huckabee. The only thing I get from these polls is the race is between Romney and Huckabee in Iowa.

You Can't
You can't square Hugh's (or the other pundits) spin with the facts!

In Hugh's case he's shilling for a Romney win so his book will get a second life. Meanwhile there's no stopping the Huckabee momentum - like a bumblebee defies the known laws of physics - Huckabee continues to defy the media elites senses and leaves their credibility straining. The people obviously are getting it though.

Thanks for the good times...
It seems the only time this blog ever pops up on the radar screen is when you take a break from your groundbreaking and utterly original commentary on why Jessica Simpson, Brittany Spears, and Ron Paul are crazy to take the opportunity to give a piffle of your "absolute truth" to Hugh Hewitt and a link appears next to Mr. Hewitt's blog.

None of these responses to Mr. Hewitt seemed to warrant your having a blog on Townhall.com, but that was before I read about how amazing you are. Who knew that you were one of the "...most widely respected evangelical voices in the nation today" and the "...heir apparent to Dobson and Falwell"? Who knew that adapting to the "lightning quick" medium of blogging was such an accomplishment, or that Hugh Hewitt and Tom Roeser has a special category of guest hosts called "Super Subs" and that you were one of them?

Your "About Kevin" section is one of the funniest things I've read in months. Thank you.

Apparently you can't see the Paul, non-peaked, black line?

You're right...
The Paul line is so far down the chart it is near invisible to me. But I will take it on faith that you are correct and that it is still pointing upwards...

Of course others are telling me its so near horizontal that its nearly a draw...

Quit begging Kev.
Stop trying to make the Huckabee thing happen KMac. Even if he wins Iowa he'll still tank. Your enthusiasm is admirable but no one else is on board. By the way, you can go ahead and endorse him (it's OK).

A breaking story
Is Huck's use of baptist pastors to get turnout to his caucuses. Some of which may come under IRS scrutiny.I saw a story a month ago where preachers were singing Huck's praises on church grounds. We all know Dems are allowed to do this in black churches but this is a definite no-no.Huck hasn't gone out of his way to endear himself to the church/state seperation to begin with. The bad part is people are freaking out over the supposed interference by Romney's religion when there's been no evidence of it happening.Romney is running a very secular campaign, using himself as a values statement.

Think about it. First the Dems want the White House visitor list showing religious leaders coming in there. Secondly the libs went apopletic when Bush said he consulted the "father" over the Iraq War. So why aren't they attacking Huck for his overt religosity during the past few weeks of the campaign? In fact they continue to prasie the ad with the cross in it and actually believing the cross was a happenstance. The meeida has been and continues to be in the tank for Huck and you have to wonder why...Maybe Coulter's column explains it to some degree but there's more to it than all his liberal positions.

I guess you missed this part: "As a matter of transparency and disclosure: I am not endorsing a candidate in the GOP Primary."

Also, Kevin talks about all of the candidates...both the positives and the negatives. Hugh, on the other hand, strictly puts up pro-Romney and anti-Huckabee articles. Kevin is pretty fair in his analysis while Hugh has been anything but fair.

Really? Maybe not now, but in the past it looked like you endorsed Fred Thompson in that fawning column you wrote a few months back.

I did not miss that part but there is definately some bias against Romney. Not in his writing (because that would be obvious)but in his choice of topics. Like the rediculous video he posted last week. You're right though, his analysis is usually fair. But the under tones are not. Keep keepin it real though brother.
