Overall I think the aim of tonight's American Idol broadcast was so admirable. It's too bad that many of the charities push population planning/abortion on the countries where they do their work. Nonetheless to get hungry children fed, and AIDS orphans needed ARV drugs is still a worthy and Biblical cause.The Lovely Bride and I would like to offer a number of additional organizations that are doing these same things and do not push the abortion envelope/condom distribution programs as part of the programs. Though it is nowhere near the totals that Ryan Seacrest announced by the end of the show on Idol tonight, I am both humbled and filled with gratitude that my listeners have raised more than $4.3 million for these and additional organizations in the little over three years that I have been on-the-air in New York.

OH YES - the American Idol "SHOCKER" - very, very angering. Seacrest nearly made the Lovely Bride break out in tears when we were made to believe that Jordan Sparks was headed home.
