Despite freezing weather (literally), 14,000 people in Salem, Virginia (including my family) waited for hours to see Gov. Palin. The event was originally scheduled to be held in the Civic Center but was moved to the football stadium to accommodate the crowd. The weather didn't bother Palin though..."I love the weather because it reminds me of home," she said.

14,000?
That's all.

Obama had 100,000 in St. Louis, MO (aka "The Heartland," "The Bible Belt," "The REAL America") just last week.

Caribou Barbie can only draw 14K in a Republican state?

Hardly a triumph.

As I posted earlier, do you not work for a living? Apparently, you think that your negative posts have some kind of deleterious effect on our enthusiasm for our candidates. No such luck.

BTW, are you a Nubian, Kiko or just a pygmy?

Wow
The enthusiasm for Palin is huge!

I wonder what she would draw in a big city.

Also, if we were to look at the population of Salem VA vs say, the Population of St Louis, MO, what would we find?

24,747 in Salem, Palin got 14,000 to show up, more than 50%!!

353,837 in St. Louis. Wow, Palin got more than double the percentage than Obama?!

Crazy, just crazy!

Fire the Media
They are subverting democracy. The hatchet job they have done on Sarah Palin is unprecedented and unbelievable. They've abdicated their own profession and betrayed their own integrity by abusing their commission as watchdogs and truth-tellers. They have become propagandists for the most radical, most inexperienced candidate for president in history. They are so blinded by zealotry that they don't even realize how much they are destroying themselves in the process. If Obama gets elected, it will not be because of Obama's policy proposals, it will not be because of his record (he has none). It won't even be because of his leadership skills. It will be because the media has presented him to America the way a slick used car salesman presents a lemon to you. If he becomes president, America will wake up with buyers remorse. He will have no safeguards or oversight in implementing economically suicidal policies.

It's no secret that Obama is and always was a socialist. It's also no secret that socialism has failed EVERYWHERE it's been tried.

Don't buy the 'we need a change' argument either. If you don't like your computer, you don't change it by downgrading to a 1970's typewriter. You don't downgrade to tired old 60's radical ideologies that kill jobs and create more poverty in the name of 'social justice'. If you don't like your car you don't downgrade to a pair of roller skates JUST for a change.

Obama's message of 'change' is nothing new. It's a re-hash of the 60's, repackaged to sound like something fresh. It only sounds new because people don't read history.

Dems, PLEASE be honest with yourselves
For the first six years of the Bush presidency, the economy was on an upswing...this after inheriting the dotcom bubble burst from the Clinton administration. Then the dems take over the house and Senate in 2006, blockading EVERY thing Bush wanted to push through. So what happens?

You can trace the economic downturn EXACTLY to when the dems took over the house and senate. You can trace the economic downturn EXACTLY to the point when Bush had no power to push anything through.

Yet you blame Bush. You repeat the lie that it's been 8 years of bad economics. That's not true--it's been 2 years of bad economics. But you STILL want to keep the dems in control. How does that even make ANY sense whatsoever?

The only way to say it's Bush's fault is to lie about it, and to lie to yourselves.

You're not fooling anyone. That is, you're not fooling anyone that actually thinks. Maybe that's why you believe what you say.

how many were Bussed in, like they were bussed into the states with caucuses to steal the delegates from Hilary? At least the Palin crowd were honest American's not paid thugs and lowlifes.

One tough lady
I also like the photo of husband Todd standing out in the cold with only a sport coat on (maybe he's also wearing cold-weather long johns!). A man and woman for all seasons. The elite media illuminati and the feminazis can't stand authenticity and real frontier toughness.

Sarah Palin is obviously more

prepared to be POTUS than is Barack Obama. At least, she knows what a chief executive does.

Palin is a far superior leader to Obama, Jr.
eddie too writes: Wednesday, October, 29, 2008 9:55 AM
Who is Barack Hussein Obama?

What does Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. believe?

What has Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. accomplished?

Why does Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. expend so much effort to conceal his past?

History
I'd take my children to a Palin rally for historical importance. But, I'd NEVER vote for her.

Froze in Fredericksburg
We were at the Fredericksburg rally with our kids. Although it was cold and wet the crowd was huge. Sarah was great, of course. I expect she'll have a very bright political future ahead of her.
