The difference between Obama and McCain in the debates last night is the same difference you would experience if you were going to get your car fixed...Who would you choose? The man who has memorized the manual and can tell you what page 83 says? Or the man who has gotten in up to his elbows in cars, fixing, repairing, and target shooting problems?

Obama sounded like a college student giving canned answers straight out of a Democratic playbook. He attempted to appeal to the "average voter" by promising all sorts of freebies and government programs and telling us how much he cares about us and how early childhood education (aka government funded daycare) will be one program that wil not be eliminated because of the economic crisis.

He looked angry, he was not conversational, and he couldn't remember McCain's name and instead called him "Tom" and "Joe." He was befuddled and generic in his answers to questions. His responses had a terseness that comes from being a media darling and not having his positions questioned publicly.

His lame attempts at pretending to be a powerful, well-respected authority in Washington also failed. Our little first term senator bragged about how he "stood up against the Iraq war six years ago" only to have his audience do the mental math and realize he was sitting in Illinois 6 years ago and did not make it to DC (where he is still a freshman without a voice) until January 4, 2005.

He looked shallow and one-dimensional next to John McCain. McCain showed a deep love for his country that compells him to serve our country. Obama has a nuetral attitude towards our country and it's people and is much more excited by his own government program pipe dreams.

Overall, it just depends on who you want in office...the manual or the mechanic?

The same debate?
I saw a totally different debate last night.

I saw MsSame as all drama and explosions, then ticked off and annoyed most of the night. McSame couldn't even look at President-elect Obama as if he is offended by even having to share a stage with him. But President-elect Obama engaged him directly several times with eye contact and compliments.

Even when shaking hands, McSame looked away. That is a sign of insecurity, not strength, confidence and power.

McSame was more aggressive, but it was dripping with contempt and condescension. A nasty, bitter old man.

He was scolding President-elect Obama as if he were a school master with a disobiedient student.

If anything, President-elect Obama was not forceful enough -- didn't call McSame on more of his lies and huge errors of judgment.

The GOP has nominated a snide, bitter, nasty old man with a record of failures and a right-wing Christian freak with zero abilities and a well-documented path of documented lies.

All I got last night was: “How dare you even think that you can compete with me.”

Remember how well that attitude worked for Hillary?

This from the party that gave us Regan and all his charm?

Obama trolls as the term goes...
Kevin, you are so right about the debate.

We must keep in mind that Obama has people PAID to post garbage like the "goat-boy" above/below this post.

Obama is much like an evil clone trooper while McCain is Han Solo... (That was a perpective for the likes of the lost soul Obamanites).

If Obama would have had the open discussions as McCain requested and offered to pay airfare for... Obama would be seen for what he really is.

Obama is EVIL and the followers of his must be slapped awake before it is too late.

Live Birth Abortions.. and that backing by Obama alone is eoungh to qualify him for a hot seat in Hell next to Hitler and Stalin.
