Many thanks to Michael Bates. He is the local blogging authority to Oklahoma politics. His very influential blog on state and local matters has distinguished him as the primary watchdog to what is happening in and around Sooner country.
But Michael should be read for reasons that reach farther than that. His deeply devout faith, his intellectual honesty, and his desire to bring out the truth, along with an enjoyable writing style make him an important voice in the blogosphere.
For all those reasons and more I am honored when he says this about the MuscleHead Revolution,
"Kevin McCullough has been watching Obama's career from the very beginning, and he looks to be as indispensible a guide to Obama as Paul Greenberg was in 1992 in educating us about Slick Willie.
I honestly think he's right though. I've been following Obama for several years now, and my assessment from the beginning is - he's dangerous. Dangerous because he's a craftier strategist than Hillary - while exuding far more charm than Bill.
Michael is also correct - I have been and will continue my series on Obama - because I hope it is a helpful voice in understanding this charismatic figure from a much less awestruck position.
