The courts have made it impossible to stop anyone from getting a divorce in America, and the church doesn't do a thing! Broward County residents now can file for a divorce without leaving the house, or at least get the paperwork rolling. The Broward County Clerk of Courts launched an online service this month that steers citizens through the application process for filing divorce actions, small claims lawsuits and tenant evictions. "It kind of guides you through, it asks questions. Once it knows your name, it will put it in every space it should go," said Kris Mazzeo, director of the circuit/civil family division of the clerk of courts. Clean, neat, no muss, no fuss. Yet the Church is really the agent still in position to get involved with these couples and try to help them see the effects their actions will have down the road. Since Christians gossip as much as everyone else in their office, and they're not supposed to. It's no secret, all over America, employees spend a large chunk of their workday gossiping. A 2002 survey said the average employee spends 65 hours a year gossiping, according to the business communications company Equisys. But one Chicago public relations firm is attempting to cut that time down to zero, which means absolutely no gossiping behind colleagues' backs is allowed, or else. We justify it in our own minds - you know you do. We make excuses, we say we're sharing "concerns on our heart" for someone else.
