Listen "LIVE" - 2-4p EST
Listen ON DEMAND anytime!

2pm:
It has an "M" rating for "Mature." It is violent, bloody, contains an "ark", religious prophecies and is considered a "thrill kill" video game...Halo 3 is also now being used by churches to reach young people... and I love it! "Halo Nights" have become the rage with local church youth groups, or "Halo Halls" for youth in after school hours. Some serve pizza, teach a bible lesson, and then turn on the video games. Churches that aren't doing it formally do have staff members that are in essence trying the same thing. 800.345.WMCA.

3pm:
Mike Huckabee said in 1988 "Government knows it DOES NOT have the answer, but is arrogant and acts as though it does. AND Church DOES have the answer but cowardly denies that it does and wonders when the world will help." Many Christians say its the government responsibilities to solve man's problems. The church KNOWS its their obligation. "The reason we have so much government is because we have so much broken humanity, and the reason we have so much broken humanity is because sin reigns in the hearts and lives of human beings instead of the Savior." 800.345.WMCA.

Praise God for Huck
All I can say is Praise God for Huckabee's clarity on the truth about social problems. I am also thankful he did not back down on his stance about homosexuality being a sin. He is supposed to be on Hannity & Colmes tonight. I can't wait to see Huck and Colmes duke it out. It should be great. I will definitely be listening to your podcast of today's show since I live in Alabama and can't pick it up on the radio.

Hey, Kevin. Are you on the America Right station on XM Radio. If you are, I could listen.

one more comment
This is probably my favorite comment from Huckabee in the article you linked:

Huckabee also explained why he left pastoring for politics.
"I didn't get into politics because I thought government had a better answer. I got into politics because I knew government didn't have the real answers, that the real answers lie in accepting Jesus Christ into our lives."
He compared his entry into politics to "getting inside the dragon's belly," adding, "There's not one thing we can do in those marbled halls and domed capitols that can equal what's done when Jesus touches the lives of a sinner."
The most basic unit of government is not the city council, quorum court or state legislature, Huckabee said. "It is Mom and Dad raising kids and teaching them respect for authority, others and God."
The nation has descended gradually into crisis, Huckabee said, and repairing the damage needs to be gradual, too. He said the solution is simple: faith in Christ."

If Huckabee gets the Republican nomination for President, he will have definitely entered the dragon's belly. I hope he will proclaim Jesus. Although I love President Bush, he doesn't use the name "Jesus" as much as I would like. He always says the "Almighty". Well, Jesus is God, the Almighty.
