Hillary's voters now in play!

Hillary's voters have become the swing vote. And Wolfson believes that McCain may have just given the "Maverick" the boost he needs to swing the election...

So, does this mean....
....we will never hear you people whine about Obama's lack of experience anymore?

From Andrew Sullivan....
The more I think about it, the more staggered I am by the pick. It's totally about electioneering (misguidedly, I'd hazard, but I don't know enough about her to know yet) and fundamentally unserious about governing.

The first criterion for a veep - and I'm simply repeating a truism here - is that they are ready to take over at a moment's notice. That's especially true when you have a candidate as old as McCain. That's more than especially true when we are at war, in an era of astonishingly difficult challenges, when the next president could be grappling with war in the Middle East or a catastrophic terror attack at home. Under those circumstances, we could have a former Miss Alaska with two terms years under her belt as governor. Now compare McCain's pick with Obama's: a man with solid foreign policy experience, six terms in Washington and real relationships with leaders across the globe.

By all means, Dems
Tell us more about how you think she's unqualified because she's a woman.

Andrew Sullivan also picked Kerry to win
Andrew Sullivan of course is going to resist Palin, men who engage in homosexuality are always afraid of really strong women.

Palin has 100% more Chief Exec experience than Obama and Biden COMBINED!

Joe writes: Friday, August, 29, 2008 3:17 PM
What Palin critics will find is she
is really a person of substance. Andrew Sullivan is calling her Harriet Quayle now. Dumb analogy. She is neither and everyone will know it soon enough.

McCain Is Still A Traditional Democrat
Amnesty, cap and trade, and the rest. Palin will have to sign on to that. Could be a career ending decision.
Or she could be the next President. Soon.
My Pet Goat writes: Friday, August, 29, 2008 3:45 PM
What will she do?
“As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?" - Sarah Palin, a month ago.

Ready to Go On the Record
I'm going on the record now saying that I like this woman. She's a genuine conservative who practices what she says she believes in unlike almost every other so-called "conservative"

Country First?

We the People of the United States of America have the right to have our borders and our laws respected and enforced.

Citizens of other countries illegally in our country have no right to demand anything from our government. They most certainly have the right to petition the governments of their home countries for change if they are unhappy with their home country. If they want to be Americans, we have a path to citizenship, more generous than any other nation, and it starts in their home country.

We need to insist on the equal protection, application and enforcement of the law or devolve into anarchy. Our Republic only functions if everyone follows the same rules. We should not change the laws to accomodate those breaking them.

If America annouces to the world "We can't stop you, so come on in" with another amnesty, the deluge will be overwhelming. If 3,000 a day didn't get your attention, then wait until it's 10,000 a day. We cannot sustain this influx and survive as a nation. We must speak up and speak to each other about this and not let false claims of racism or bigotry be used to intimidate us into silent assent. America is not Congress' to give away. America belongs to We the People. Speak to your neighbors, speak to your coworkers, but please speak up to your Congressmen and Senators. It's O.K. for us to enforce our laws, no really, it is.

Someone please tell Sen. McCain.

The first criterion....
for a President is that he's ready to really be a President from the get-go.Obama? The leftists are kind of quiet about BHO's lack of experience, and their criticisms of Sarah Palin smack of hypocrisy.
Actually, she has had more government management experience than all three other candidates. She has fought political corruption successfully, lowered taxes, balanced budgets, and has first-hand knowledge of available Alaskan oil and gas.
She's a winner.
