My
syndicated column created a f'ir bit of anger and controversy yesterday. But the long and short of it is this Bible believing Christians do NOT have permission to abdicate their positions as citizen rulers.
Christians who are arguing that they have the right to not participate in the general election of 2008 are demonstrating two things.
1. Their lack of understanding of the real role of American citizens. (It is WE THE PEOPLE who govern and we lend our permission for an administrator to steer the ship for four to eight years at a time.)
2. Their ignorance in their roles in the stewardship to rule justly, in addition to rendering to the governing authority what is in the realm of civil government - as long as it does not violate Biblical truth.
