 Answer his question one day, stab him in the back the next... What kind of donkey's backside treats the people he's begging to lead this way? It wasn't the working class people's fault that Obama gave such a God-forsaken, Marxist, wholly unacceptable answer to the question.
That's Obama's stupid fault...
But do you see what's happened here?
One minute Obama comes to the rope line seeking to appear caring and concerned about the everyday, working man "Joe." He puts on a concerned look on his face. He breathes his closeted smoker breath all over Joe and the people surrounding him, then posits what he totally unassumingly thinks is a "compassionate" answer in telling Joe that he wants to spread Joe's wealth around FOR HIM.
Now because Obama is far too teathered to his leftist dogma that he didn't even realize how his marxist claptrap would be received, he then gets dogged with it in the debate, and because he has been so roundly embarrassed by the results of what he told Joe... Joe has now become the enemy.
Obama's media thugs have dug up more info on Joe in 48 hours than Obama has allowed to be released to the public about himself over the past 2 years.
Obama's tactic - if you can now believe it - in order to recruit the working class vote - is NOW ATTACKING the working class people - openly mocking them now in his rallies. This video tells us a great deal about what kind of ELITIST SNOB Barack Obama has always been - but now is on display for all to see:

YES! Yes I do see. And I don't like it! Why would "Joe" (is that his name?) make up some strange story about buying a business netting over $250K/year, when he currently can't even pay his property taxes? By standard business valuation, it would cost him MILLIONS to buy such a business! So the WHOLE story is MADE UP, why? Why DO such a thing? What kind of donkey's backside treats people that way? He REALLY makes about $40K, so he probably doesn't pay much (or ANY) federal taxes NOW or under either candidates future tax plans.
I have a few questions for you Kevin McCullough. Obama's plan is to move the top marginal rate back to where it was under Clinton.(gee, peace, prosperity and SURPLUS!) Were we a "God-forsaken, Marxist, wholly unacceptable" country just 8 years ago? Or how about when IKE was President? (the top marginal rate was 90%!!!) Were we a "God-forsaken, Marxist, wholly unacceptable" country during IKE's administration. (most of that time he ALSO had a majority Republican Congress)

Hmmmm, now first, your statement is just a lie, not true, a fabrication (just like JOE's story), however, there IS a truth which follows from your lie. Joe has done MORE interviews in 2 days than Palin has done since her nomination ... and Joe's not running for ANYTHING. Also you mention "Obama's media" ... let me ask you ... is McCain responsible for EVERYTHING on FOX news? Is anything reported in the news about Joe not true?
And one last question Kevin, why the HATE? What good is all this hate going to do for our country. Why the lies? What good are lies going to do for America. What do you think the good Lord thinks of your hate and lies?

When conservatives try to refer to this guy as a "typical working class guy" they just show how utterly out of touch they are with REAL working class people. Seriously, this is what you think of when you think of the working class? A guy who's contemplating buying out his employer? Most blue collar guys (and white collar guys) don't have enough saved to purchase a business.
Joe is not the enemy but he is also not indicative of what most Americans are experiencing right now. As far as the media attention, he is getting plenty of positive attention and yes, some scrutiny. Well, guess what? The same thing happened to Cindy Sheehan, and rightly so. If you're going to go on television holding press conferences and making policial statements, then those statements should be evaluated, and if your claims involve a concocted narrative about your own life, then you are inviting scrutiny on yourself. |

busted my as@ for thirty years as a carpenter ,framing contractor and homebuilder . at 52 i can still out produce most of the guys that work for me . i ocasionally have a big year and make over 250,000.00 most of the time i don't.

Do you have any idea what's a stake Bill? Our nation now has over $10 TRILLION IN DEBT. Almost ALL this debt was run-up during Reagan and the BushI, BushII terms as President. When Clinton was in office we actually started running an annual SURPLUS and we could have started paying down debt big time. BUT NO, people like YOU put Bush in office and what did he do? He did what Reagan did. He CUT taxes ... MOST of which went to those OVER the 250K mark AND HE BORROWED ALL THE $$ TO PAY FOR IT! Do you have any children Bill. Do you love them? Are you HAPPY to be handing this debt to them so that you can buy a few extra beers? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH OF THE TAXES YOU PAY TODAY JUST GOES TO PAY INTEREST ON THIS REPUBLICAN DEBT? HOW MUCH OF YOUR TAXES IS GOING TO CHINA BECAUSE THEY ARE BUYING THE REPUBLICAN DEBT?
And one last thing Bill. Do you have ANY savings? Because IF we don't get this debt under control VERY SOON, your dollars could very well become on par with Mexican Pesos ... the RICH won't care, they will be hedged, but YOU Bill, you will be screwed ... |

Obama cuts no taxes, he proposes only a $500 tax credit to individuals and $1000 credit to couples. These begin phasing out at 75K. No marginal tax rates for anyone are reduced, but the top bracket is increased by 3.6% immediately. Further, Obama opposes making the current rates permanent, so everyone's rates go up automatically on 1/1/2011. Obama also proposes lifting the payroll tax cap, currently 102K. Under his plan, all AGI over 102K will be hit with 7.65% more in taxes, 15.3% for self-employed including most small businesses. In total, Obama's plan is a jobs killer. |

Both McCain and Obama have likely talked with thousands of people on their rope lines. It was McCain who chose to bring Joe the Plummer to the attention of everyone. |
