"Marriage IS a man and a woman!"

He might have been a little slow off the mark on this, but it is the best thing for him to do. He CLEARLY supports the people of California, Obama clearly embraces the judicial tyrants in black robes:

My friends at Protect Marriage received this yesterday:
"I support the efforts of the people of California to recognize marriage as a unique institution between a man and a woman, just as we did in my home state of Arizona. I do not believe judges should be making these decisions."
DISTINCTION is what McCain needs in this election - not conformity, and this gives him one more night stick to beat Obama over the head with.

Flip-Flop X 2
Again, McCain Flip Flops to cozy up to the far right. Last week it was off shore drilling, and now this?

And you people think only Obama has FF issues?

McCain has always

opposed the efforts of defiant same-sex sodomites to eliminate traditional marriage under the law. This is not a flip flop.

Also, it is too bad McCain has not come out with a proposal to drill in Anwar.

Remember McCain's campaign slogan. "At least he is better than Obama".

Eight cents.
Can you not even recognize a blatant Flip-Flop when you seen it? No wonder your a Republican.

PS: Just how much oil will come out of Anwar? And what impact will it have at the pumps?
Oh, gee! Almost $0.08 per gallon!

According to the NYT, the Energy Information Agency estimates that the total amount of oil in the offshore zone in question is about 16 billion barrels. If we assume that it would take about ten years from the day of authorization to get to peak production and that most of the oil is pumped out over 30 years, this would translate into a bit over 1 million barrels of oil a day.

That would be equal to about 1 percent of world production in a decade. If we assume a long-run demand elasticity of 0.3, this would imply a drop in world prices of approximately 3 percent. In today’s prices, we would be looking at a drop in the price of a barrel of oil from around $135 to $131. If this were passed on one to one in gas prices (this is long-run story), we might expect to see a drop in the price of a gallon of gas from around $4.00 to around $3.92 a gallon.

Poor McCain
I feel badly for McCain. You know he just hates to cozy up to these religious freaks, and they don't trust him. I guess they have no choice.

Kinda slow here KMC.
Maybe you should do a hit piece on Ron Paul to stir up some interest in your pathetic blog.

Don't Hurt 'Em!
Please Pet Goat guy, leave the factual information out of these discussions. These are people who think that marriage is "sacred" even after Britney Spears got married and divorced in less than 24 hours and Michael Jackson wed Lisa Marie Presley. Obviously we're not dealing with a lot of deep thinkers here.

Sacred!
As my husband is fond of saying, anything that two drunk strangers can legalize in front of an Elvis impersonator at 3AM in Las Vegas isn't worth defending.
