Thought it might be helpful to illustrate some of the diabolical nature of the liberals I spoke about earlier tonight on CSPAN2. If you missed it - it re-airs Monday morning at 4am EST.

I watched you on Book TV C-SPAN2 and I wanted to let you know that you are truly piece of sh*t. You represent the worst of society. Inhumans such as you should be shipped out of America. I completely
understand you wanting to blame liberals for the worlds ills, given the GOPs public record, you have every reason to shift the focus. I support tar, feather, and a one way ticket to North Korea.

And then there was...

I was absolutely appalled at your discussion before a group of young people on todays program. What a total perfect example you are of the mentality of the religious right. Every word that came out of your mouth was so predictable, the murder of babies? Abortions when they are done are done in
the first trimester that is not a baby but an embryo and it always amazes me when the wackos like you talk about abortion like you do. Then of course the anti gay marriage crap as if it is any of your business who anyone marries, but you know what they say about people so threatened by homosexuality, latent tendencies and all that. What you talk is hatred, bigotry, stupidity, absoluteness? who with any intelligence can speak in absolutes? The Bible isn't absolute it was written by men, by scribes, not even by the disciples most of whom were illiterate. You don't know anymore than anyone does about complex life issues. By the way you look like you have trouble sleeping and
have severe insomnia kind of have that undertaker look. Hopefully we can only pray, believe it or not liberals do pray and believe in God, wow what a concept, anyways we can only pray that after all the damage, lies, carnage, human suffering caused by the Bush administration and the mean spirited
relligious right we won't have to hear from you quite so much in the future I think the majority of Americans are sick of your stupidity and ignorance and will not be voting particularly for candidates with religious leanings, by the way bozo the constitution was written to separate church from state,
didn't you go to school or maybe just Oral Roberts University the same thing. Sincerely, a proud longtime liberal, Suzanne Greenlee (hansengreenlee@msn.com)

And one last sample...

I have never heard someone as oblivious to reality and intolerant to other people’s plight as Kevin McCullough. I watched the ‘Book TV’ episode which aired on 7/1/06 and felt sick to my stomach that teenagers were sitting in the room while he ran his mouth and spoke of stereotype after stereotype after stereotype… You see, the thing about real ‘young Americans’ is that they don’t think the way that a middle aged conservative does. Most have friends of different ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, and political stance. Most are very considerate of every one else’s right to live on this planet without having to listen to other people telling them how to everyday. Most think that people like Kevin McCullough are the reason that bombs are dropping in Beirut tonight… people who do not think about why things are happening but only who is to blame for them... people who want to shove their beliefs down the throats of everyone they meet… people who will not step down in the name of reason, but would rather ‘fight the good fight’…. To the death. Robert Ullery (raullery@indiana.edu)

Just the fact that these and others like them so misrepresent what was said makes me feel rather content that we made great headway tonight. That... plus the fact that the book jumped from 100,000 to 1315 on Amazon - and doesn't even come out until next month!

AWESOME!

By the way I included their e-mail addresses so that any who read their comments may feel free to respond. Just keep it kind - stay above board with the kind of language etc...
