(with 62% reporting)
McCain - 35%
Romney - 31%
Giuliani - 15%
Huckabee - 13%
--------------
Clinton - 51%
Obama - 31%
Edwards 15%
As for Mr. Romney—who may still win, but who has underperformed in the early going—he certainly was a dutiful spokesman for every possible item on the conservative wish list, but perhaps he was a bit too dutiful. His penchant for pandering grew to ludicrous proportions as he not only reversed himself on a long list of policy positions but cooked up a distinctly unconservative proposal for rescuing Michigan’s auto industry just in time for its primary. When he finally reverted to the “real” Mitt Romney—an optimistic businessman with no compunctions about directing an activist government—it was clear that even his newly minted conservative persona was in a Bain-like turnaround.

did this come from? To my knowlege they aren't supposed to release any information until all the polls are closed. Florida is in two time zones. |
|
And by the way - Paul is at 3% - I refuse to report results that are less than 5%...
Don't cry in the beer... |
|
Latest Drudge: Romney 35% McCain 31% |
|
Others have McCain up.
If the Super Bowl is even close to being a nail biter like this, it will be a great one! |
|
That's not what I asked. Where are you getting these results? In 2000 they got into trouble for this sort of thing.
As for crying in my beer don't worry. You are going to be doing plenty of that come this November when the Democrats slaughter you and the rest of the Stupid party. |

He has a better chance than the rest of the warmongers running and that includes the Democrats. I know it pains you, but most Americans are sick of these neocon inspired wars and won't support someone like McCain. I heard the insane fool tell folks we're going to have more wars. That will make a good campaign commercial for the Democrats. There is all sorts of stuff about McCain and little of it good.
Now, of course they love the war too, but are being coy about it for obvious reasons. Chances are you'll get your war, but this time you'll have to pay for it instead of the US borrowing so much money from overseas. Not only that, but you may fine yourself dealing with the fairness doctrine again and maybe we'll see a review of the tax exempt status of some of these dispensationalist "churches". (Cults is more like it)

You can't say my commets are offensie...afterall that is the way you guy makes an argument. Yeah, he will unite the country...Ha! |

How could PAUL defeat a Democrat?
He can't get more then 3% in Florida, and he's barely scored better than that long before now.
YOU MAY AGREE with him on every jot and tittle - but that has precious little to do with whether he can win?
Which he is presently demonstrating he CAN'T!
Because he is failing in every REAL poll that is being held...
That may be hard for a loyalist like you to see...
BUT IT IS THE TRUTH...
Paul is done... actually he never got started! |

I explained it above for you. I'll add this. One of the reasons Paul has had a hard time is that he doesn't have a good campaign staff. The other reason is that the worse source of opposition isn't from the Democrats, but the CFR types who head up the RNC on behalf of Wall Street. To them I'll add the Neocons on talk radio and Fox with their constant lies and smears. You fall in the latter catagory in your own less than humble way with the crap you've posted along with the local smearbund here on Town Hall.
My boy isn't going to make it in all probability, so I wish to thank you for helping me make a decision I was loath to make. Unless Paul runs as a third party candidate I'm going to vote as a Democrat for the first time in my life for president. As much as I dislike the Democrats I dislike your collection of theocrats, neocons and economic men even more. The state I live in is competative, so there is a good chance it will go blue. I'm going to do this along with a number of other folks to pay back the GOP for betraying not only people like me, but their own former beliefs. The quicker the GOP is flushed down the toilet the quicker the parasites above will go back to the Democrats where they belong and maybe a real opposition party can take root if there is still time left for this country. I doubt it for there is simply too much stupidity and ignorance bred into post modern American society that prefers war and fiat money to a prosperous republic.
I will be right on one thing. It will be a big change in political alignment, but more like 1932. |
