This is supposed to be Obama's convention. And yet all they (the networks who already are giving him the most favorable press any candidate has ever received) can talk about is how the Hillary mess has not been resolved. In addition Obama's team decides to RESPOND to a commercial and actually petition it to go away. I can't say that I blame them considering it is just this devastating: ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING! UPDATE: What is the date of the New York Times quote given to Ayers when he said they wished they could've BOMBED more?

And Barack Obama does not do himself any favors when his supporters (inlcuding Mayor Daley) block access to any records related to this that should be public and accessable. Ask Stanley Kurtz. |

Hardly. If the Ayers situation had any traction, the Clinton machine would have used it and probably used it even more effectively. Ditto on the "Obama is a terrorist" efforts.
If the McCain's can make this a referendem on Obama's character, then McCain wins.
If the economy is the #1 issue and Obama can make McCain seem like just Bush's 3rd term, too many homes, too rich, etc., Obama wins.

I am no fan of Senator Stick-In-The-Eye, but that picture of Ayers trampling defiantly upon the American Flag, combined with the glowing praises of him by the Obamessiah should be etched in every American's brain come Novemebr. |

The 2nd video you listed was really a good one. It had a link to a LaRaza video claiming that McCain wants to deport Mexicans. I hope they play that one in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin & Ohio. Democrats are just damn incompetent. McCain will win by double-digits.

According to Obama, Ayers did these things when he was 8. Well then, how many bad things happened before Obama was born that we still find unacceptable today? Obama is a man whose allegience is neither to the flag of United States or the anything for which it stands. He associates with people who harm americans and compares our troops to the invasion of Georgia. Why should we take the risk? |

That's what you and other Obama supporters said about Wright, and then Obama got it and denounced Wright - but too late! Ayers is a DIRECT link to his character and choice of associates. And now that he is taking legal action, americans will get to FOCUS on this issue and it will be bigger than Wright because as an unrepentant terrorist, Ayers makes Wright look like Abraham Lincoln. McCain did not attack Wright but he will use Ayers to remind americans, and truthfully so, that any man who is comfortable socializing and launching his career in an unrepentant's terrorists home is worthy to lead this nation. Libs may not find it devastating but those blue collar voters who have eluded Obama, you know, the bitter and frustrated ones? Will not take the risk. |

Dems don't understand the character argument, because it seems most dems see little to no value in good character. They think it's some kind of silly wedge issue, like abortion.
I'm not suggesting dems are all of poor character, as some will attack me, and for the ones that do, well, you probably don't understand this whole "character" discussion anyway, so why bother to explain it...
