Don't believe the Hope... er... Change that's not believable...

While the first half-white candidate Barack Obama was talking about tearing down walls in Berlin yesterday it turns out not all was as it seemed.

Of course the diligence of the American press is laughable - but the number they continued to report throughout the day on Thursday - related to Obama's attendance numbers for his speech ran roughly 200,000.

Of course what they didn't bother to include was the fact that the event was essentially a music festival with rock bands, free brats, and lots of beer...

Oh yeah - Obama spoke - but he wasn't the main attraction...

And by they way - I dare him to keep up that whole "citizen of the world" stuff... no seriously I do. That plays SO well back this way...

More and more....
The more successful President-elect Obama becomes (and, after reading a wide range of reviews of the speech from all over the web, only Kevin and his little TH friends have a negative twist), the more desperate the Right's tone becomes. The speech was a triumph for Obama and therefore for America, too. Two examples: (1) Obama has always done the applause thing before and after he speaks. It's odd, but certainly not new. You are years behind in pointing it out, Kevin; and (2) the "half white" comment is by far your most blatant racist slur yet, including the "P*#P" line. The sub-human Ann Coulter's "Half-rican" is better, but with hard work, I'm sure you can become just as disgusting. Gee, Dick "F" Cheney would be so proud of your gutter language.

If you can even attempt to answer the questions. What made the Berlin speech a "triumph?" Not in the eyes of the global community but to Americans - what did he say that we should take great satisfaction away from it with? And you know as well as I - that even in the Berlin speech he blatantly "pimped" (used for his own profit) the issue of race. My use of the "half-white" denotation, merely reminds us all that he is not the essential equivalent of the typical American "black" culture. While he chose to live among poor blacks particularly after law school, he accomplished little if anything to point to that improved their condition. He did so primarily because his "solutions" were more government based entitlement programs as opposed to genuine help such as educational improvement, self-starting enterprise, and genuine assistance in family unit cohesion. Thusly - the south side of Chicago - which I know WELL - is as bad off, if not worse today than they were when Obama's all too often lauded "volunteer efforts" were initiated. Meanwhile he himself went to exclusive schools for his training. Then he and Michelle both bemoaned having to actually pay for their advanced degrees from Ivy league institutions. Obama has demonstrated no new ideas... No hope, no change... just recycled - monstrous government entitlements that will redistribute wealth - not based on effort, but on political favor. So I'm all ears goat - tell me what your Savior's triumph in Berlin was?

Solid McCain VS delusive, weak Obama!
Big deal, Obama makes repetitious, already considered policy overtures in Germany and all of a sudden he is Presidential Material! As I've said before it doesn't take much anymore to become the Leader of the free world! Words, just words! Nevermind experience and background or discretional judgment; there is hope he may improve, with his on the job training, in the White House. Heaven help us!
