That didn't take long...
The Official Obama administration website has published
the new President's homosexual agenda. And for all the centrist moves he had made on national security, economic policy and the like, the raving lunatic leftist in him is beginning to show... on only day 2.
Here's the highlights:
- Expansion of hate crimes: It needs to be understood that our legal code judges behavior not thoughts. And while hate crimes have been around for some time they are completely unnecessary. If hate in someone's heart produces a criminal act the act itself is punishable by law. With the emergence of hate crimes what we have is someone attempting to decide the thoughts of a person. As it is applied to the homosexual issue specifically the activists who engage in homosexual behavior have only one goal: to shut down any voices that are in disagreement with homosexual behavior. Their primary target in "expanding" hate crimes, is to literally shut off the practice of free speech, and free exercise of faith. Obama's first plank in his LBGT agenda is to expand hate crimes, and thus target men and women of faith. (Interestingly enough Mr. Obama has NO evangelical Christians in his cabinet, after supposedly campaigning as one...)
- Pushing ENDA legislation: The "Employment Non-Discrimination Act" sounds good by its title. But in its substance it is designed to force even faith based institutions to retain active homosexuals on the employment rolls of organizations, corporations, etc. This would mean that a church would not be able to dismiss a pastoral member caught in what their own doctrine would state as sin. This would mean that you could not disqualify an active homosexual from being considered for employment as the church's youth pastor.
- Opposes any ban on redefined marriage: President Obama must have been lying through his teeth as he campaigned for President because he told an awful lot of evangelicals that he opposes redefining the institution of marriage to include other creative sexual unions. But now - his official policy seems to state the exact opposite. He thusly now opposes the people who oppose changing the definition of marriage. If you are a believer, and you believed him when he campaigned - consider yourself a victim of his bait and switch.
- Repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell": President Obama will lose the good will of the American service men and women who are presently serving for making this his policy. Gay and Straight. Having had this conversation with military men and women for some time, I can assure you the military members have no desire to see or have to deal with the issue of sexual harrassment in the baracks. This is why we do not house men and women in the same quarters. Encouraging flamboyant display of sexual tendencies in the living quarters would likely lead to an increase of unwanted advances, and likewise unwanted assault. This is a really dumb idea, and the President is foolish to move forward with it.
- Get more kids in homosexual homes: The social data is replete with how bad an idea this is. But the truth is, homosexual couples need adoption in order to make their "families" "look" "normal." And if they are to be successful in indoctrinating the next generation so as to believe that two men are just as sexually whole as a man and a woman then they will need to "re-educate" them from an early age. An education that all too often would be far too graphic, and completely inappropriate. And in heterosexual households would be considered harrassment or molestation.
I told
the readers of this blog two days ago that I would wait to criticize the President until we knew details of his policies.
Well surprise--we made it all of 48 hours...
