2pm:
It is well established fact that the majority of women vote irrationally, or should I say intuitively. And it leads to curious outcomes. From yesterday's New York Times: "The stem cell proposal touches a moral issue. It is simply unconscionable not to provide money to study the possibility that embryonic stem cells could lead to cures for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, spinal injuries and other afflictions." My mother was a protector of children, particularly me. But not today's woman - New Jersey women voters will overwhelmingly foist this stem cell myth upon the future generations. Scary and irrational. 800.345.WMCA.

3pm:
New York City dwellers revel in the opportunity to expose themselves and to BE exposed. You may remember we uncovered the fact that New York does not have a peeping-tom or voyeurism law on the books. But now the desire for New York City residents to show off their privacy is being taken to a whole new level: Not only will the building’s glass walls allow W residents to see, and be seen by, passers-by on the street below, but Mr. Fletcher and Ms. Lillo have created peekaboo features within each apartment, like a window between the kitchen and the bedroom, and a bathroom that’s a glass cube, allowing residents to expose themselves to their roommates and family members, too. The idea, Mr. Fletcher said, was to frame and exhibit the intimate details of life, or at least ones that would be aesthetically pleasing, “like your silhouette in the shower.” Now where I grew up people would not be put on "Megan's Laws" lists for peeping tom offenses. But not in the uber-sophisticated New York City. We believe privacy is a thing of the past. 800.345.WMCA.

I'm going to make a TERRIBLE parent. I'm going to be controlling, manipulative, and I'm going to make my children eat their dinner"I'll get up and make another meal for Brooke, my four-year-old, as opposed to just saying, 'Look, dinner is made. Eat it or don't eat it,'" Roanna said. The approach is different than the one Roanna's mother used when she was growing up. "I made dinner and that's what it was," Karen said. "If they didn't eat it, for the most part, unless it was something exotic, then they didn't eat it and waited until breakfast." Watching America's Funniest Home Videos last night, a child's video WON $10,000 because his temper tantrum was the cutest. The host even asked him how he felt knowing that his temper tantrum won him $10,000, and was told..."good for you." 800.345.WMCA.

74% of YOU say that you'd rather hide your Holiday Victoria's Secret catalogue from your 13 year old daughter rather than your 16 year old hormonally driven son. Now that the catalogue is featuring products for 8 year old girls and younger with their expanding collection of dress up dolls, and thongs made for the little ones. It tells us how big an issue they our girls see themselves is becoming. It also reinforces what the data tells us that girls are becoming more sexually aggressive than ever before. 800.345.WMCA.
