Mr Kerry, I have young cousin who has a degree from UNC Chapel Hill and an MBA. He went to Iraq as a sergeant where he was awarded a Bronze star for bravery in Fallujah.

My brother in law is in the process of finishing Officer Candidate School, where - because he has a completed college degree (in which he graduated with honors) - he will BEGIN his military service with a degree in Aeronautics.
The contempt that Kerry showed for these service men and women is sickening... |

I guess this brilliant soul of a politician was a soldier. So in calling all soldiers dumb, he is calling himself dumb. Da. Also, for those of you who don't know, his yacht is call the "Scaramouche"= a boastful coward or buffoon. BINGO!! |

I was a high school graduate in 1962 and in Vietnam in 1964. It was my choice to join the Marine Corps not because i didn't study hard.I was on the honor roll all four years of high school. My choice Mr Kerry,my choice.I find you to be a complete jerk.I thank god every night that you lost in Ohio and will never, ever be considered for another run to be commander in chief. |

Another pathetic attempt by the right wing to distract the voting public from the fact that the President has no plan to extricate the troops who are sacrificing their lives for a country sprialing into a civil war. |

As I sat and listened to John Kerry's non-apology yesterday I was appalled. At times I could not believe I was hearing what I was actually hearing and in the day we live in, I am not surprised by much anymore. When Kerry spoke against the Iraq War, I couldn't help but remember that he had the same intelligence that President Bush had and voted to authorize it back in 2003. Also, when he said the he as a veteran would never speak against our troops, I remember him saying that they were going into homes in the middle of the night terrorizing Iraqis. Also, when he said that one of the problems in Iraq is that the soldiers do not have the armor they need, I remembered that he did vote for the $87 billion for proper equipment..wait, that was before he voted against it. |
