Why did he say the cops "acted stupid"? Turns out they didn't, now a black cop that was at the scene is saying that Officer Gates did everything exactly to code and that the professor was acting "strange". He has to phone the parties involved and apologize to the cops because he stepped in it big time when he commented on a situation of which he had no firsthand knowledge. His remarks Wednesday night added fuel to the fire instead of quelling the controversy. Is this the dialogue that Atty. Gen. Holder wanted the country to be having? one has to have two parents (plural) who are citizens (plural)..only one of Barry's was an American citizen and she was a minor. Barry's Fight the Smears admits he is a native born citizen of HI as if that will quell the questions. It also admits he was a both a British subject under his father, Obama Sr. per the British Naturalization Act of 1948 and when
Kenya won independence in 1963 when Barry was about two, he was a Kenyan citizen til age 21 when he was required by their law to renew the citizenship..which he failed to do..he said it we didn't.
Sen. Leahy agreed with Michael Chertoff April 3, 2008 after asking about Chertoffs definition of
Natural Born Citizen (this was when the Senate was investigating McCain's qualifications, though they neglected Barry's..Barry voted in the affirmative for McCain's credentials).
Chertoff said it was his "assumption and understanding that" you needed "two parents who are citizens"..and Leahy he said it was his also.
That more than the B.C. is the crux of the issue..dual citizenship and we haven't touched
his Indonesian adoption/citizenship. The Constitution is quite clear..it's Natural Born not native born to be eligible. No wonder Barry thinks it's flawed. |

Mr. Madison specifically rejected native born as insufficient. He carefully chose "natural born"instead. He looked to Vattel's Laws of Nations for the definition. It has been repeatedly cited in Supreme Court rulings. Obama is self admittedly not eligible because his father is a foreignnational and not a citizen even if he was born in HI. The propaganda machine has been in full tilt operation for the last two days with over 100 articles of ridicule (Alinsky rule #5) trying to stomp out the questions. Over the last two weeks the discrepancies in stories over which hospital he was born in have been scrubbed, some as old as 4 years. The full court press to discredit those asking for proof of eligibilty has been put on to keep anyone from lifting the curtain and exposing his entirely fraudulent persona. All of his records are sealed, from grade school on.......

In actual fact, the courts have ruled almost every time that the plaintiffs in these cases must pay all court and legal costs for having brought frivolous suits. Of course, the defense lawyers then pump up their billing rates and expenses, and collect from people like Berg and The Dentist. I understand that they normally kick back 10% to Obama, so he's making a tidy profit.

Unless his birth certificate names a father other than the one claimed, he is ineligible by his own words already, no birth certificate necessary. It is curious that he would spend almost a million on 11 law firms in 12 states to keep the original secret. Most of the lawsuits have been dismissed on the grounds that the plaintiffs have no standing. Not on the merits of their claim.
It remains to be seen if anyone has standing to defend the Constitution. |

You escaped, with the help of the proprietors of this site, my long and arduous rebuttal to your last post.
First it was too long: I edited the tome 2xs. Thence when it was finally an exceptable size, I recieved a message that "tags" were not permitted. Tags??? What are tags??? Define tags???
Well, hoooray for you. Post editing my refutation 4xs: taking everything off that could possibly resemble a stupid "tag", duh???? I was still denied and gave up.
Once again, you won and I lost. Have a great day :-).

They probably mean HTML tags, the things that indicate formatting in a web page. They consist of words or letters -- B, P, BLOCKQUOTE, CENTER -- with a "less than" symbol before and a "greater than" symbol after. I can't type those characters to show you because, well, tags are not allowed. They're uppercase comma and period on the keyboard. TH's web software is extremely primitive and can't handle tags, so they probably just check for those two symbols and reject the comment.
Note the text just above the box where you type comments:
"Comments: (Note: Tags are not allowed.)"
It's probably best that you couldn't enter your long response; you're pretty incoherent at the best of times. |

This is a case of two guys with egos larger than life...
Gates thought, "Hey, I'm a distinguished professor and a friend of the President, how dare this civil servent treat me like a common perp!"
The Cop though "Hey, I'm a cop. I've got a badge and a gun! How dare this guy talk back to me."
I think Gates acted stupidly, but the cops did, too. Sorry, I really can't see any excuse to handcuff a 58 year old man who can't walk without the aid of a cane.
I think this is just a reminder that blacks and whites see law enforcement differently... and that's really the problem. |

This was a case of a man who thought he was far superior to the policeman and knew that he could always use the race card and his buddies to do whatever he wanted. Allowing Gates to get away with this does nothing more than embolden others to follow suit. The charges against Gates should not have been dropped, he deserved to be arrested as does any other citizen who shows this kind of disrespect for a police officer who puts himself on the line day in and day out to protect us. The charges being dropped against Gates shows exactly what is wrong in todays society. Gates chose to make this a problem and he should pay for that choice. |

Although you directed the above-referenced post to Mr. Munck, I thank you for the multiple references defining the dastardly "tags".
Post reading most of the "Wikipedia" construals, I still do not have a clear clue as to what the heck these "tag" varmints represent. To take a perfect explanation from the Great Neo..I am a "T-Rex" when considering computer technology vs. the related *vocabulary thereof: *good grief: it is definitely not English. BUT, the little that I did comprehend convinced me that my post to BM did not include any "tags". Actually, it was rather civil, but a firm refute of his erroneous conclusion that I agreed w/all his points.
Basically, my point was that the libs love BUSES. As long as their party faithful tow the line they approve all activities (good, bad, or indifferent). BUT, the very minute any refute and/or reject that line...it is under the BUS they go!
As to my poor cochroach in the box comment, it was an obvious joke (I thought).
Seriously, this Mr. Munck person appears to be a a serial conniver who salivates all over his keyboard attempting to victimize other bloggers by twisting, distorting, parsing, truncating and diminishing the meaning of their responses.

Thanks for the link. Of course Gates is a racist. If not he would have never made the statements that he did. I think Gates should have be prosecuted. This was not a racial issue, it was a policeman doing his job. I am sure that Gates would have been the first one to have screamed race if real burglars were breaking into his house and the police did nothing to stop it. Obama tried to use race as he always does when he is in trouble. It did not work this time. I hope that the tapes are disclosed and Gates is shown for what he is. This will embarrass both he and Obama. It is about time. |

They have admiited that the last question was designed to address the Gates issue and I beleive it was so Obama could show all his Homies that he was going to be right there backing them in any race issue that might arise in the future.
