
What's the difference in someone saying, "Not voting for Mitt because he's a Mormon makes you a bigot" vs. "Voting for Huckabee because of his commitment to Christianity is inappropriate."
In TRUTH - none...
You are just as much a bigot if you tell someone they CAN'T vote for the candidate of their choice - based on your view of their faith - as much as you are if you tell someone NOT to vote for someone else because their faith is different than yours.
In fact here's a radical idea... why don't you host a constructive discussion about the issues facing us - and let the candidates be themselves and give us the most transparent answers they can muster. Perhaps in such transparency - be it their business ethic or their commitment to God - we will see their character - and make our decision to vote for them based on what we see and how they connect to us...
