12,000 Dow Jones...

4.4% Unemployment rate... (That's 95.6% Employment for those of you who went to public schools...)

No terror attacks since 9/11 on American soil...

Just a reminder of what America voted AGAINST yesterday...

What America voted against
Inaccurate in all respects. America voted against 3000 dead and 15,000 wounded soldiers; a war without a definable end; 300 billion dollars sunk into the cesspool of Iraq and hubris on the part of the Administration that it always knows what is best for Americans. Conservatives, if they what is best for them, must go back to their roots: limited gov't, which includes judicious use of our armed forces.

Good for you, Odense2000!
When the Republican Party can get back to small government, fiscal responsibility and staying out of people's private business, I can support the party again. Three cheers for ditching the excreable Santorum!!! If there is anything I hate as much as being lectured by an obnoxiously smug Hillary Clinton...it's being lectured by a santimonious buffoon like Santorum!

I AGREE Kevin
Nothing good will come from putting secular-progressives and liberals in charge of our democracy.

Iraq War What is it Good For?
Don't forget Iraq may have lost 100,000 people as a result of this war of choice! Now President Bush has checks and balances, he finally has no choice but to respect dissenting voices.

Fear
Three things (among many) the Republicans fear the most:

1. Meaningful lobbying reform. (2008 voters will ask: Why couldn't the Republicans do this?)
2. A political break through in Iraq. (2008 voters will ask: Would this have happened if we "stayed the course?")
3. Massive corruption uncovered in war contracts. (2008 voters will ask: If Congress bothered to investigate this obvious problem in 2004, could the stolen treasure earmarked for reconstruction made a difference in winning the hearts of the Iraqi people?)

What America Voted Out
America was fooled by the liberal propaganda. What they voted out is sanity. In 2008, I hope they see what they foolishly did, and return the Congress to the Republicans, along with another conservative president, otherwise, America will cease to exist as we recognize it, becoming yet another member of the global community heading toward the very socialist union that Kruschev claimed would bury us.

lobbying reform? LOL
Thats like saying: we need to make the politicians like money less.

THE answer is conservatism. With less government involvment you take away the need for excessive lobbying anyway. Since the Feds run everything (in direct opposition to the Constitution) it is more like a 1930s proection racket.

celtic your bigotry is showing.
