'And so with Barack Obama -- for you and for me, for our country and for our cause – the work begins anew, the hope rises again, and the dream lives on,' Kennedy concluded, reprising his famous 1980 convention speech.

"And this is the cause of my life, new hope, that we will break the old gridlock, and guarantee that every American, north, south, east, west, young, old, will have decent quality health-care as a fundamental right and not a privilege. We can meet this challenge with Barack Obama, yes we can, and finally yes we will."

These were the rousing words, spoken by Senator Edward Kennedy, that lit up the faces of the attendees to the opening night of the Democratic National Convention. (It was also the only policy pledge made over the duration of the entire night.)

Senator Kennedy's words, like so many who pledge government freebies, sounded spectacular, generous, even utopian.

The challenge of course ends up in the reality that in order to achieve what he promises Senator Kennedy knows that the quality of care will diminish and the cost for everyone will increase. Nothing is given away for free, and no one should have a universal right to health.

Our health, like our bank account, is something we need to steward. That responsibility begins with us, not the Government.

Senator Kennedy also left out one more important aspect of the matter. The law already guarantees emergency care for all Americans.

So no one is presently denied life-saving medical care, though Senator Kennedy's candidate for President Barack Obama did once radically vote to deny such care to children who had been born

Repeat after me:
Jeremiah Wright. Tony Rezko. Michael Pfleger. Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.

"Above my pay grade." "Bitter and clinging to God and their guns." "Citizen of the world." Tire gauges. "First time I have been proud of my country." "Vastly superior infrastructure." The Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

Slow Joe Biden.

It is almost cleansing.

Support in Congress
When we elect McCain and Palin we need to make sure and put in a Congress they can work with.
Believe it or not, Orange County California, the most Republican county in the nation, if not the world, has a liberal Democrat representing s significant part of it. Incumbent Loretta Sanchez has a horrible voting record but hardly anybody really understands that. We have a great candidate in popular School Board Member Rosie (the Riveter) Avila. The district is largely Hispanic and Vietnamese so we have a good chance of carrying it. But we need support from all over the country to win. see voterosie.com

Support in Congress
Go Rosie Avila!! Running the tough race against Liberal Loretta Sanchez, who is pro late-term abortion and has voted 11 times in the past 12 months against any kind of energy independence solution. Changing America requires national support at the local level! Go to http://www.voterosie.com and click on the Donor Tab to help this grass roots effort of a 17 year School board rep who is pro-life, pro-marriage between one man and one woman, has fought hard for parental rights and founded a community anti-gang solution for our kids!! http://www.voterosie.com! Go there now! She needs ya!

We need all the help we can get!
We really need to vote for the right person to be in Congress especially for the 47th District here in California. Liberal Loretta Sanchez has not done her job. Rosie Avila has proven herself of being a great leader and mentor for a lot of us. She has help mentor kids to keep from joining gangs by providing after school activities for them. She has provided leadership for the kids and has accountability partners for them to help the kids do the right thing and stay out of jail. Through her Non Profit organization she has provided a wrestling club, skateboarding club and a boxing club to name a few. She has created a domino effect in our community to have ordinary people get involve in helping her in the cause of helping each other. Leadership like this is priceless and we must recognize the importance of having someone who cares and understands the people living in the 47th district. We must recognize these great things and nominate her as the one to represent us as our Congress leader. I am fully confident she will be a great person for the position to voice our opinions as a community as being one. We need to resolve the energy crises we are having. We need someone to voice the importance of education with experience. Vote for Rosie Avila - God Bless America!
