On the air today I unveiled the brand new "MUSCLEHEAD SUMMER READING BOOK REPORT" which is a big fat long way of saying "here's your chance to have an amazing NYC weekend and I will pay for it."
Here's how it works...
1. Buy the new book: MUSCLEHEAD REVOLUTION
2. Read it. (Your chances of winning the contest based on the content of my first ever hardback increase dramatically by actually knowing something of what you are writing about.)
3. Write an old-fashioned back-to-school "Book Report" on the book. 500-700 words. Make it pithy. AND BY ALL MEANS YOU DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH ME! Just make sure you support your position with facts and substance.
4. E-mail the book report to kmc@wmca.com
5. Each week we will scour all of the entries from the week and pick the finalist for the week. Each finalist will be guaranteed a parting gift.
6. After eight weeks the finalists will be in competition against each other right here on this website and YOU the TownHall readers, and WMCA listeners will actually vote for the best, most creative, articulate review and thus be awarded the "Weekend in New York". (An overnight stay in Manhattan at a fabulous hotel, and a nice steak dinner all on me!)
7. And remember the review does not and should not be a "yes man's" review. We want to see how you think, and how you wrestle with the 10 big ideas in the MUSCLEHEAD REVOLUTION hardback book.
Bloggers, Listeners, Station Staff, Family Members, everyone on the planet is eligible (minus my Lovely Bride - sorry sweetheart - I owe you a weekend, just for enduring all of this.) So go get reading and writing...
