"Because I Could!"

In one of his faux-faith appearances following his Presidency do you remember when Bill Clinton was asked WHY he felt like what he had done with Monica Lewinsky was morally objectionable? He didn't sight Biblical standards of marital fidelity, anything to honor God, church teaching, doctrine, or moral instruction from his folks...

Why was what he had done wrong, "Because he could!" (Take advantage of an inferior employee...)

Well now liberals on the other end of the spectrum are making the exact opposite point...

And per usual - liberals' thinking is so skewed - BOTH extremes are 100% wrong...

I'm so glad my parents were principled conservatives. Even if everyone disagrees with me, I've at least been given the advantage of knowing how to think... CLEARLY!

When conservatives argue morality?
Here are a just a few of my favorite examples of GOP Family Values at work:

And now the wonderful Vito Fossella. Kept an entire 2nd family in hiding, but shunned his lesbian sister.

You Republicans are a GREAT group!

Geneva - Republicans and Conservatives..
Are not synonymous...

Rare event!
It's a rare event when KMC is right about something, but he is on this one.

Republicans are not conservatives, at least not this current sorry bunch.

They are Neo-Con freaks who have hijacked a once truely grand old party.

Don't get too excited about it, KMC: even a broken clock is right twice a day.

As an ex-liberal...
...but now a conservative I agree with your assessment about clear thinking. Both my parents were traditional conservatives but in my early years I took a different path. I left because the whole philosophy of the liberals is "instant gratification". Not a good way to live life nor to make political choices.
Being a conservative is so much easier for me. As a liberal I was trying to keep up with the multitude of causes and the ever changing position to take on said causes is enough to make anyone not think clearly.
I like what the conservatives stand for, I take great pride in what we are trying to preserve. I will never go back to
liberalism.
