18 million votes peeps!

10 generic mentions of Obama, and all of them attached to her own accomplishments. She toted him around like Paris Hilton does her purse puppy.

She also rubbed his nose in his poo and put him back in his cage.

Hillary showed to the world tonight quite likely why she might have HAD more actual votes in the Democratic primary than Obama did. But aside from a couple of glancing blows (not head on collisions) on the "possible policies" of John McCain she did nothing to help her ticket at all.

Look its easy to come out and repeat the written script from the teleprompter that says "I support Barack Obama."

But in very Clintonian style and ease, Hillary just set herself up for the 2012 run when she very covertly helps the Obamas NOT make history in 2008.

End of story...

Allen, you left out one thing
With all the immense press coverage of your "messiah", Obama should probably have a double digit lead over McCain in the polls. Instead, Obama's lead has slipped to the point that the contest is even. With all the money that Obama has spent and the swooning and heavily biased media covering his every nuanced comment, why is Obama slipping so much in the polls? Perhaps Americans are finally starting to see that Obama is all image and no substance. Or perhaps people are getting sick and tired of seeing his face all the time, much like they got disgusted with seeing Paris Hilton's mug all the time. Typically a Democrat candidate for president should have a 10-15 point lead among women voters. According to the latest poll, Obama's lead is only 2 to 3 percentage points.

The choir.
Kevin, you and yours wouldn't vote for any of the democrats, anyway. The speech wasn't designed for you or any other Neo-Cons.

The speech was specifically for Hillary's supporters. And, on that point, she did an excellent job.

Believe it or not, it's not all about you!

The Base.
All conventions are about stirring the base.

To that end, they have had a tremendous success so far: Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton both did great jobs.

Next week is your turn, Kevin.
