A fun hour we had yesterday afternoon on the Ed Morrissey show. Rick Warren, Barack Obama, John McCain, Dr. James Dobson, - basically no one was spared careful scrutiny.

Watch or listen to it all unfold by clicking above.

"Dr." Dobson
The Born Again/Evangelical voting base is depressed, demoralized and in total despair.

Their boy has failed them on important issues and they are probably starting to realize that he was never really one of them, but rather just using them for votes.

Now they don't have a candidate who will say what they need to hear, yet they are terrified of (and therefore, hate) Obama.

"Dr." Dobson will take all his self-righteous moralizing and throw it all away and reluctantly endorse McCain.

And it will have ZERO impact on the election. He is, mercifully, irrelevant.

Scary Obama "darkness" at end of tunnel!
Obama is wearing out his welcome. He doesn't even know how many years, 8 or 10, that the elected President can serve! Thought I'd reflect on Obamas gaffe, as they do when its one of McCains. Seriously, the emptysuit is filling up with meaningless words, the parrot puppet needs a new vocabulary. I sized up the smooth, sweet talking slick salesman Obama early on. Oh thats right, I'm a racist because I bash the Black man. No, I am grounded in reality and I see the handwriting on the wall. He is a mis-guided, deluded unqualified Pres.,candidate who won the Primary nomination by default and may win the Presidency by hook or crook?! He has enough worshipers who will follow him over the clift and if thats not enough he can buy or bribe his way into the White House! God help America. Disillusioned Democrat

Voting block
Probably My Pet Goat is right. Dobson is irrelevant in 2008. I don't think the voting block which was so strong in 2000 and 2004 is still solid.

They had a glimmer of hope with Huckabee, but he didn't spark their energy.
